Saw this tonight, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I needed it though because its been an especially trying day, and I found myself wanting the day to just end.

I agree, when I was considering bailing on her thanksgiving lunch, I thought I only have like 5-6 of these lunches before she doesn't want me to come!

@Mrs. High Heels: thank you for this!! I have heard from so many parents of older kids that the baby stage is so temporary even though it feels endless and helpless while you're in it. Knowing that my older one is a preschooler for just a couple of years, then I only have 5, 3, 5 left before he's an adult really scares me...!!!
