Lately, the days have been dragging. LO is on spring break but yet we are so bored and I find myself struggling to think of things to do. The weather here has been cold, and sometimes rainy so that's not helping. It's a good 20 minute drive to get to anywhere like stores, to even just walk around.
How do you stay entertained all day without constantly being on the go? That's just not an option, daily, for us.

Ugh same here. Horrible weather and my husband is working 12-8 so the days seem so long.
I don't have much advice. Grocery shopping but keeps us busy some days. Can't wait for warm weather.

We get out every single day, otherwise I'd go insane. Even if it's just a walk to the mail box or something. Maybe go on a nature walk to collect sticks, rocks, leaves, etc then take them home and do a project with them--paint them, glue them, etc?

We get out every day, too. Raincoats and a walk around the neighborhood. My kids like to spray glass and the floor and other hard surfaces with a little bottle of vinegar and water and then wipe it with a rag. Sometimes we do long bubble baths or finger paint the tub. We eo a lot of playdoh. How about making yourself a new pandora station? Or find some songs with movements like wheels on the bus, hoky poky, ring around the rosie...

Sometimes we just do nothing at all. Mums too tired for anything interesting, let's just lie here on this couch a minute. My DD is sometimes happiest helping me with tasks around the house, other times likes to decompress for a while with the iPad (screen time, that's another story). Sometimes things get out of hand and boredom leads to destructive play, like yesterday was taking books off the shelf and laying them down as a path and walking on them. It takes a lot of effort to keep them entertained and sometimes I'm just not up to the task.

@Bao: we were just at my parents' house in rural MI for "spring break" last week, and it was brutal! 40 degrees and rain/snow kept us pretty housebound -- except for a couple trips to walmart to get out of the house. when it finally stopped raining, i'd bundle the kids up and let them do chalk on the patio or we'd take a walk. i wouldn't say i enjoyed that much, but we had to get out of the house!
