Did you ask your family if they would take LO or did they offer? How old were they?

My parents watch LO usually one afternoon per week so Dh and I can spend time together. They have offered to have her longer, say from morning to evening, most of the day, but we haven't felt the need to leave her that long yet. We have a wedding to travel to in July where we will have to stay overnight. It would be amazing if my parents could have her so we didn't need to take her, but I'm not sure how to approach asking them. LO will be 10mths. I don't know what her sleep will be like then obviously, but at the moment she goes down without a peep at 6pm and sttn, so hopefully they wouldn't need to do much extra!
