Today was our first REAL ttc try. We're both so giddy and excited it is ridiculous. Do you remember your first real try?

I do. I convinced myself I was pregnant ... but it was just side effects from coming off birth control. Second time was the charm
Good luck!

Yes, I remember that we had dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, had a few drinks, and gave it a try! Good luck!

This is our first cycle of active TTC and I giggled at your post as I am counting down to my fertile days! Currently at CD5 and waiting is making me jittery!

Yeah, we'd closed on our first house that day and did it on the carpet in the master bedroom of our empty new house. We are classy like that.
I kept worrying about the fact that there are huge windows that had no curtains or blinds.

I don't remember the first try, but I remember right before that cycle began about being frustrated with a ton of things and us deciding why not try, and a very quick BD before a friend came over. LOL, TMI I'm sure.

I remember, I had been trying to convince dh that we should have another baby but he kept saying not yet and then one night... Well needless to say the look on my face was priceless, I was so surprised. Sadly I wasn't ovulating yet so it took a couple weeks.

Yep it was a long time ago. I remember the devastation of not being pregnant more than I do the actual trying lol.

I remember the first time we consciously tried - I was on a medication that counteracted birth control, so I just decided to stop the BC. We were going to use condoms to prevent until DH was 'ready' to TTC (I had wicked baby fever). When he came home from the drug store and told me he didn't feel like buying condoms, I knew he was ready!

@ARTBEE- I just completed my first cycle and totally was convinced I was pregnant as well! Like you it was just the craziness of coming off BC. Hope the second time is a charm for us too!

First try now. I have EVERY textbook ovulating symptom (including two days of mittelschmerz, left ovary, and increased sense of smell. Though my boobs aren't terribly tender.) I HIGHLY doubt I'll get pregnant right away, but it's technically possible. Eee!

I do, but that super fun first month is clouded by the other 12 months of unsuccessful, and much more difficult months of trying that came after it.

I remember It was so exciting, knowing what *could* be happening.

I don't really remember our first try. I remember thinking that it was exciting being off birth control and throwing caution to the wind. For me, it was the first time in all of the years I've been sexually active where it was without protection. It was definitely exciting.
Right now, I'm enjoying this cycle (#4) because it's the first time that we didn't need external lubrication for, hoping that the good EWCM holds the goods up there long enough to make a baby!

I do remember our first cycle and I also convinced myself I was pregnant. I remember obsessing over every little twinge I felt for the next two weeks. I tested way too early and way too often and ended up getting really discouraged when I was pregnant because I had such a high emotional investment in it. Enjoy this special time of trying and try not to put too much pressure on yourself. It will happen when it happens..at least that's what I'm trying to remind myself of.

Yup! We were both SO nervous! And I was kinda sorta convinced I would get PG right away, even though I knew it was very unlikely.

I remember the first month. We were both so nervous and excited. I hoped that it would happen our first try, but wasn't expecting it to.

I remember our first try.... particularly as it was, ahem, rather successful. DH is so proud.
We thought we were beyond our fertile time for the month so were laughing about how we could take it easy and break ourselves into the TTC process without having to overanalyse every little symptom. Hahaha, little did we know!

Of course I remember our first try. As my Husband likes to say- we got a hole in one, so it was our only try. So lucky.
