If that happened to me, I would get a new bed
My brother and SIL just told me a story over the holidays where a friend of theirs had their 2nd baby in their bathroom bc the labor progressed so fast. Their oldest slept the whole time. Also, the grandma ended up coming over to watch the oldest after the birth. The mom and baby had already left in the ambulance and the dad was waiting for grandma to come and didn't have time to explain what had happened. The grandma went to the bathroom and saw all the blood and thought something had seriously gone wrong and was crying and praying the whole time until the dad thought to call much much later.
