Awww so sweet! DH always hides little cards for me when he takes off for the week. The most recent one was in the dryer.

He cleans. When I have a day off, I just crash, cause I'm exhausted. He takes his day off, and cleans the house top to bottom.
He also brings me treats - smoothies, tea, ice cream...

When I was in the hospital after my c section, by the 3rd night he said something along the lines of "i can't wait to be home so I can put my arm around you in bed." It may of just been my raging hormones, but it made me tear up.

just because flowers are the best!

dh writes me lil random post it notes through the week. the ones from LO these days make my heart smile

I went on a trip the other week that was super stressful and tiring. When I got home, DH had changed the sheets and scrubbed the bathroom. *weeps* It's the acts of service that really get me.

Bump, I know this is an old thread but I love the thread topic. Hoping to see more people replies, I enjoy reading all the replies. I'm not sure the rules here if it okay to bump this, so my apology.
Hope to get more replies from others. Never hurt to remind ourselves all the sweet little things that our DH/SO did for us.

Me and my husband have totally different type of love language.
His love language is "Physical Touch".
My love language is "Acts of Service".
We both doesn't say "I love you" to each others much, but I know he loves me. His actions show it, he is an actions type of guy, not the word type.

It funny that my husband did not get down on his knee when he wants to propose for marriage, but... he doesn’t mind kneel down on one of his knee if that make me feel better about my height.

I’m 4’11, he is 6’1 so we have 14 inches difference in height.
When we have serious talk, we can’t stand next to each others and talk. I am ridiculously short next to him, so I always have to look up to his face.
So I would complain and make comments like: "Your so tall, I have to look up in order to look at your eyes."
Then he would kneel down on one of his knee, so I don’t have to look up to him when I talk. I know he doing this only to make me feel better about my height, lol

He knows I'm short so I always like to wear high heels everywhere I go. But when it pouring heavy rain outside, he would remind me to wear shoe instead. He said wear high heels out in the pouring rain, I might slip and get hurt.

He always nice and protective of me. He always been the guy that help carried my laundry, carried all heavy stuff for me.
He help me change light bulb on top of my ceiling because I’m so short.

Now we married, and he still doesn't let me get a tall chair to stand up to change the light bulb; he thinks I'm gonna fall.
I can already tell when I'm pregnant, his heart probably jump out if he see his pregnant wife climb up on a tall chair, lol

Here where we live prone to earthquakes. When we were dating, he always carried tons of 5 gallons big water bottles to my apartment, to make sure have water for emergency use.
He fix my car, he do all the heavy things around the house for me.

He sure is over-protective, sometimes can be too much, but at least it show he cares.
