We have the Chicco cortina and have been really happy with it. It meets all of your requirements and is pretty affordable ($179.99 on amazon)

My stroller basically fits all those points - except maybe the stands when folded. I mean it stands if you prop it against something but not by itself (I guess I never really tried though). Here's the catch, I bought my stroller in France and I don't think you can find it in the US - unless you find a site that'll ship it here. It's called the RedCastle Citylink, that I bought with the fully reclining car seat. I love it and will be using it for baby #2.

Have you looked into the Peg Perego Pliko P3? We have an older model but it's 16 lbs, infant car seat clicks in, has four wheels, basket is a good size, folds umbrella style, stands up on its own, seat reclines pretty close to flat, and a toddler can stand on the back! Oh, and it's a high end brand. I LOVE ours and we've had it for 4.5 years and still in great condition. Just use some silicone grease on the bearings of the wheels when you feel like it's slowing down and it's perfect again. We also have the Britax B-Nimble as our umbrella stroller and it meets all of your requirements except for the large basket. It's a good size but definitely not large.

Mesa + Cruz meet all of those demands. I love my Cruz!

ETA: the Mesa is pretty pricey. We have the Maxi Cosi Mico. The adapter can stay on the stroller when it's folded, so you don't have to remove it before collapsing the stroller. The Mesa doesn't need an adapter, though.

Check out the Mutsy Evo. Here is the babygizmo review. It's the one I'm leaning toward and I think it fits all of your criteria.

@erwoo: We have that stroller and I totally forgot that a toddler can stand on the back! Wonder if my 40 lb kindergartner would break it haha..

Peg Perego Pliko P3 is a great stroller and meets your criteria, but it's kind of fallen out of fashion, due to newer brands, lately.

I found stands when folded to be very important since we don't have any hall closets or a garage in our house. I'd say give up on the no adapter thing-- most strollers that use an adapter for an infant carseat can keep the adapter on at all times. So it's not like you have to assemble the stroller + adapter every time you use the stroller. Also, I don't like the idea of two seats on a stroller at once (non-removable regular seat plus infant carseat on top of that). I love my uppababy vista but it definitely is heavy! But I didn't mind because I never had to carry it anywhere... just pull out of the trunk and put it back in. The adapter clicks in the same way the seat clicks in. You will only be using the infant adapter for a little while. My kids were out of the infant carseat at around 7 months because it was too heavy to lift in and out of the car with them in it.

@catomd00: I promise I'm not trying to sell the vista to you!! but the rumble seat is VERY simple to use. BUT I have heard of older children who don't like it because their face is so close to the other seat. Wagon Jr. has never minded it and has even climbed in and fallen asleep in the rumble seat. So it works for us.

We have a side by side double but it's so hard to maneuver (the bigger your kids are, the harder it is to maneuver!) so we just use the vista wherever we go. Like you, it's just for walks or the mall. I think jogger side by side doubles are easier to maneuver but we don't want to spend that $$$ if we don't use it for actual jogging!

We got ours at 40% off with a friends and family discount and we got our rumble seat, infant adapter and piggyback board used off craigslist. We plan on selling the whole thing as a package in a few years for a really reasonable price and make most of our money back.

I agree with others that if you really want the graco, I would just get it--let your mom get something else. But on your list, I would not care about the carseat adapter--almost all strollers fold with them attached so they're really not a big deal.

@catomd00: The B-ready is 26 lbs without the canopy, which would probably only add like maaaaybe half a pound or less. I think that might be the closest option to meeting all your must haves listed!

@MsLipGloss: Right, but it doesnt recline into a bassinet, which is the way I was reading it. I have the B-Ready and love it!

@catomd00: ill just say that we have the graco and I love it. It's very good for the price and we couldn't be happier!

@catomd00: Honestly, 4 wheel and stands when folded would go first for me, if you're wanting to sacrifice something. I LOVE our 3-wheeled City Mini. The single front wheel makes it so much more maneuverable. It doesnt meet all your other needs (not quite FULL recline, and has a carseat adaptor) but there are other 3 wheelers that might.
