E pulled out this gem today "mommy, the circumstances have changed, I'm going to need my Barbie car in my room!"
What 3 year old says the word circumstances haha

That is too cute!
LO is only 22 months, so her vocabulary is still pretty limited. Today she found a bag of potatoes in the cabinet, and she brought me one with a look of concern on her face.
"Mama! Dirty rock! Dirty rock! 'Side!"
Apparently, she thought they were dirty rocks that needed to be thrown outside.

My two year old repeats things I say in frustration a lot, so for example, on the stairs when she's being a pain, as soon as j say her name in my stern voice or yell, she goes, that was your last warning!
Last night she was stalling at bedtime and she looked at DH very seriously and goes, "Daddy, let's talk. (Another thing I say to her when she is being a pain in the stairs) I like your shirt."

Our 3 year old had a huge meltdown last night and when I went to hug her and calm her down and she looks at me and sobs, "No Mommy, I need Daddy! He's my one true love!" ...Well okay then. lol

We just came back tonight from visiting relatives for Thanksgiving. My 2 year old got to see a grandma, aunts and uncles, and his little cousin who he hardly ever gets to see. We stayed at a hotel and while we were there *someone* (ahem, DH), clogged the toilet and a person from the hotel came up with a plunger.
Anyways, tonight when we got back, S wanted to talk about "what we did" on our trip. So I asked him, well what did we do? His first thought was "we came home" and his second was "we packed up our things. " So I said, and who did we see on our trip, thinking of course of all the relatives he was so excited to see. His response? "We saw the grown-up with the plunger to fix the potty."

I don't know if I should be sharing this but DD said, "mommy has big hairy balls" at the dinner table last night and I nearly choked on my food. No idea what she was talking about?!
