I got one on the recommendation of a friend, and never use it! We use continuous white noise (an air purifier, but we also have a Marpac noise machine too).

We don't have one.... and lo has been sttn since 2 1/2 months. We have a fan in her room for air circulation and white noise. But every baby is different and different things will work for each of them.

Weve used ours for over a year. We have a travel one also.

I don't really get why people like them? We use a regular white noise machine, the marpac dohm, and it's great.

We don't have one, so I can't say it's not all it's cracked up to be. We use white noise...on an iPhone app. Works great so far, runs all night, and we change up the noise every so often. Can't beat free!

We have the gentle giraffe for DS, I agree the time blows when he was younger, but now it's more of a comfort thing for him. He sleeps with it(batteries are dead so no noise), carries it around(especially when not feeling well) and takes it places. It's also nice for when he stays at a grandparents as a little piece of home for comfort at night. We love ours and are getting the sleep sheep for DD for when she gets here

It has put LO to sleep and kept her asleep far more than waking her up. As long as you don't put the volume too loud then it doesn't affect the sleep too much.

We don't have a Sleep Sheep, but we do have a Gentle Giraffe. The timer thing sucks--I think sometimes he wakes up when it goes off after 45 minutes--but man he loves that thing. It sits in a corner of the crib and he's constantly curling up with his head between it's legs. I don't regret it at all, even though I do wish the sound lasted longer.

We have the gentle giraffe and have used it maybe four times. It's cute, it puts LO out but it's not a necessity for her. We have a humidifier going which makes a lovely white noise but I don't always remember to fill it and turn it on. I think if white noise is your babes thing then something that goes all night would be better. My LO doesn't seem to need it.

We also have the giraffe and love it! The timer never woke her up.

Ah man! We have the travel one bc it was a shower gift and it's so cute! LO isn't here yet so I have no experience using it, I'm sad to hear it might not work out though. I guess we'll wait and see!

We have one and never use it because DS needs white noise the whole night. We have a sound machine in his nursery and use a white noise app on our phones when we are out and need it!
