Elevator = alligator

Instead of saying "I want" sometimes she'll say "You want pasta. You want milk. You want cookies." She's getting better about it but it's still funny.

When she wants help she says, "Mommy help you!"

up...is up, down, on, off.

on.. is also up, down, on and off.

depending on her mood! she generally uses them correctly, lol.

because = bepause is her biggest one lately!

also polka dots = coconuts

@Mrs. Confetti: LO says "I wanna hold you!" or "Hold you, Mommy!"

Spoon = Brush (only during mealtime!)

@lamariniere: I love this! He's applying the grammatical rule correctly (except these verbs do not follow that pattern of course). What a clever boy!! He will never, ever have heard you say "gived" so he is not learning language simply through copying, he is actually forming the words in his mind, using the rules he has observed! So awesome!

She also talks about herself in the 3rd person more and more often; "Eleanor wants x, y, z"

Anything that falls over or gets dropped or knocked over by E is "fall down." Cup of milk fall down, crayons fall down on floor, etc.

She calls all beds "nap" instead of bed.

When we look through picture book, she points to the pictures and makes me say what each one is. Every time we get to the crab, I say "crab" and then she points to her crib!

B is almost 5 but he gets business and company mixed up. For example, when talking to me about his sister,
him: "I'm going to go over there to give her business"
me: "...to keep her company?"
him: "yeah!"

@T-Mom: My son used to say 'tickle' when he wanted a pickle! I miss hearing 'More tickles, Mama!'

Watermelon = waterlemon
Pink, Purple and Red are all Purple
Dinosaur = Dragonsaur

And when she wants more of something, "mama, can I have another one cracker, banana, cookie"
