I love hearing what everyone is reading, it helps me pick out my next reads! I've been slacking on the reading lately, but really want to pick back up. What are you currently reading?

I just finished "Touch & Go" by Lisa Gardner and could not put it down! It comes out next month (I was reviewing it) but I definitely plan on reading more of her books now! It was a detective-type book. I use to love non-fiction/true crime so this reminded me of that but not real

@Sweet T: I've heard a lot about those, could you relate it to another book type?
@LindsayInNYC: you got to read it before it came out?

@Sweet T: Just read Divergent this weekend! It's good! I need to pick up Insurgent.
Right now I'm reading Leviathan (I think I'm on a YA dystopian kick lol) and re-reading Jane Eyre for the umpteenth time.

@Bao: It's a Dystopian young adult novel. I'd compare it to The Hunger Games. I think this series is written better though!

I just finished State of Wonder (Ann Patchett) which was really good. Now I just started The Elegance of the Hedgehog-- so far I like it but I"m not super into it. It's slower than some others I've read, which isn't necessarily bad.
@Bao: @Sweet T: I read Divergent and Insurgent a while back and I agree with the comparison to Hunger Games. But, I think HG was much better. Divergent is still good and you can't put it down (seriously, don't pick it up on a night when you need to go to bed early because you'll just keep reading) but to me it wasn't as good as HG.

I am reading nothing "good" at all. We're on vacation in Hawaii so I packed my arsenal of trashy Jodi Piccoult books. I've read 'em all before so I read them and leave them....@FutureMrsMcK: Looove me some Stephen King!

@ms.janedoe: Yeah, me too! I think The Dark Tower is my favorite (series) but The Gunslinger was hard to get through, even though it's pretty short. After that they were great!

@regberadaisy: kill order is the prequel to the maze runner series ad the dovekeepers is about the Siege of Masada by troops of the Roman Empire towards the end of the First Jewish–Roman War where only 2 women & 5 children survived.

@Foodnerd81: I never read the Hunger Games...so I would have no comparison. Maybe I need to add both to my list.

I'm reading Army Wives. I've watched the show and decided to see what the book is like.

@Bao: Oh! You should definitely read the Hunger Games then! Do that first-- it's great. Very quick reading too (well, being that it's YA and all!)

I'm reading Diety by Jennifer L. Armentrout. It's the 3rd book in the Covenant series. Young Adult of course - I'm on a YA kick.
And I second everyone's mention of The Hunger Games and the Divergent series! Both are soooooo good!

I started Cruel and Unusual by Particia Cornwell. I tend to buy whatever books are in the $1-2 section at the bookstore, and she's an intriguing read.
I recently read The Longest Trip Home by John Grogan, author of Marley and Me. It was really well written and very poignant.
