Same boat as you. DS1 and 2 will be 2.5 years apart, mostly because we mad a miscarriage in between. We started trying for #2 when #1 was 16m old, got preg and m/c within a few months and got our sticky baby when he was 21m old.

I think my doc says to wait 9m in between csections (so 18m birth to bith), so we will wait at least that long, but probably not much longer. I'd say a year at most.

Long story short, I'd like #3 to be not that long after #2.

LO 1 & 2 are 16 months apart. LO 2 & 3 are expected to be 2 years and 4 months apart.

We are aiming for same separations. I want them all to be close in age.

My brothers are only about 18m apart but they're much older than me. It was quite lonely growing up.

We needed the girls to be more self sufficient before having a third. I needed it to be safe that I was only holding the hands of the younger two while in parking lots etc.

Girls are 21 months apart and our son is 3 years younger than #2. Another factor was preschool tuition. I can't afford three at once, so I needed someone to be 5 before putting #3 in care.

I have a larger gap between my first 2 then my last 2. Its truthfully not what I had planned, I was hoping for a similar age gap or only a slightly smaller one but it is what it is. I mostly mourn the time my daughter gets to be the baby but itll work out I guess

We want a slightly smaller gap between 2 & 3. 1 & 2 will be 2y9m apart if all goes well.

LO1 will be 3 years when #2 is born, and if we do have a third, I will shoot for a similar age gap again. I'm not the kind of person who can handle a very close gap.

I wanted them all close but we are waiting for number 2 until DH is done this insane work program. So 1 and 2 will be hopefully 2.5ish years apart? Hopefully 3 and maybe 4 will all be under 2 years apart.

#1 & #2 are 21 months apart. We are currently TTC #3 and if we get pregnant this cycle #2 & #3 would be 23 months apart. We started trying shortly after #2 turned 1 in hopes of a similar age gap.

We will hopefully have about a 3 year gap between #1 and #2. Anticipating a smaller gap (more like 2 years) between #2 and #3.

My husband will be making significantly more money by that time so it will be okay financially for me to be at home straight through (part of the 3 year gap has been I went back to work part time to help out)- but I don't want to stay out of the field for toooo long. Plus #1 will start kindergarten around the time that #3 is born, so I will still only have two at home for most of the day.

our state pays a credit toward preschool, which will cover the part time program we plan on putting our daughter in, so the cost of care isn't as big of a consideration.

That said, the plan may change depending on the next place we live. We may wait a little longer for #3 in order to get into a bigger place.

#1 and #2 will be 20 months apart. I'd like the same gap for #2 and #3, but plans don't always work out. #1 took over a year of TTC and a m/c and I got pregnant with #2 the first month, so I guess it depends. I would like to start trying again once #2 is 12 months or so.

If we go for a third, it would be a smaller or similar age gap to minimize the total age gap between 1 and 3.
