We have family pictures in two weeks, this is what I've got so far...thoughts?? Jakes shirt has green/blue stripes.

I love them! I especially think you'll look great in green.
I think R should wear the same color green button down under his sweater and let the zipper stay down to allow the shirt to peek out. Or even cuff the sleeves so the green shows. Like this:
