I had my last period three years ago today. Since then, I have been pregnant, nursing, or pregnant and nursing.
Just wanted to share. I dunno, it's weird to think I have been supporting another being or two with my body for that long!

It feels crazy doesn't it! I'm down to one nursing session per day with my 13 month old, and like you, I realised I have either been pregnant, nursing, or both, for 3.5 years straight now. I want to drop that last nursing session and have my body completely back, but then a part of me doesn't want to end that yet as we are strongly leaning towards being done with two and I want to soak up the moments.
It will feel so weird to have my body be completely my own again....I almost can't remember what it feels like!

Wow that's a long time!! Being pregnant and breastfeeding that long is no easy feat. Way to go!

Now that you mention it, today was my LMP for DD2.
I only had two weeks of not nursing/not pregnant between my girls. -
Mine was about 2 years, then I had 2 months of periods before I got pregnant and was nursing again... so then no period for another 2 years!
It was really weird when I started getting my period back regularly again. It was a nice side effect to pregnancy/nursing.

Crazy! I am still almost exclusively breastfeeding my nearly 7 month old baby (I started BLW a couple of weeks ago but she is still barely consuming any solids) and a couple of weeks ago I got my first period since before being pregnant, so about 1 year and 3 months between periods.

That's awesome! I just got mine after 29 months and I thought that was long. We aren't planning another LO right away so I will probably have AF for a while!
