Do you have any friends who has been there for you from the very beginning, through thick and thin, ups and downs, etc. and are still friends with them?
I find that my friends come and go with the different stages of life, which is sad to me.

@Rubies: Yep. I used to always say that friends come and go, but family is forever.
I have 2 friends that have been pretty constant in my life. We definitely don't talk or see each other often though. :T

Yep, one. We've been friends since first grade. She lives about 3 hours away, but we always make plans when she comes to our hometown (about once every month or two). All of my other friends have drifted apart or are "new" friends.

I have 2. One that i've been friends with since I was 6, and the other since 7th grade. We've been through everything together. My 2 best friends.

Sort of? My cousins have always been my best friends, but I guess they count as family.

I have one friend who has been there since college. We don't live near each other but we're there when we're needed.
