Today is the funeral of an amazing, beautiful young man.
Stephen Sutton was diagnosed with cancer when he was 15 years old. He has since raised over £4 million for the Teenage Cancer Trust and dedicated his life to inspiring others and bringing positivity into this world. He lost his battle with cancer earlier this month but his legacy lives on.
So far, more than 7,000 people have attended an ongoing vigil in Lichfield Cathedral to pay their respects and celebrate his incredible life.
Stephen's mother has asked people to "do something that makes you and others happy" today in honour of Stephen. Facebook (here in the UK) has errupted into a thunderclap, with people posting pictures of themselves giving a thumbs up for Stephen.
Please take some time to listen to Stephen's story and maybe give your own thumbs up to someone who needs it today.
If you want to, you can still make donations to Stephen's JustGiving page, which is raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. https://www.justgiving.com/stephen-sutton-tct
Thank you Stephen, for all the light you brought into this world. Rest in peace you beautiful, beautiful man.
