We're going to do an open house for LO's 2nd birthday but are stuck on the time. LO naps fairly early so we are thinking to skip her nap but still have to think of our guests.
What time do you decide on for your LO 2nd birthday party?

I would probably do a party from 3-6 and just put LO down a little earlier than normal for the nap, with a wake up around 2:30.

We did an evening party after her nap time. It was 4-6:30 at our house.

We did 11-2pm , hoping that it would allow DS to still take a nap. People came late and he ended up needing a nap before we even had time to do cake, gifts, etc. If I could do it again I would have done 10-1 or 3-6.

I'd do a late afternoon/early evening kind of time frame depending on how much/what kind of food you want to serve.

We did it at 5pm. She was up a little later then normal but luckily she took a great nap so it all worked out.

We're doing 2-4pm since it's just cookies, milk, and ice cream. We'll probably get her up a half hour early and put her down right after lunch around 11/1130

All DS's friends are on a similar schedule, so we did 10-1130. Naps followed immediately for most friends.

We had a 10:30-12 party at a playgym for LO 1. LO 2 will have a 12 start time and no end time since it is just family and a few close friends.
