I've been following all the recent 'return to work' posts with great interest. I'm returning to work full time July 1st.
I'd love to hear any tips for shutting down hallways conversations and chatty co-workers. My main reasons:
1) no time to chat on my way to/from pumping
2) I'm afraid I'll cry when people repeatedly ask if I miss LO or feel guilty if I don't miss her enough
3) I don't want to be criticized for sleep training/daycare/leave etc.
At the end of my pregnancy every trip to the bathroom was a 30 minute affair because of all the stop and chats. I appreciate that my co-workers care about me but I'm afraid I'll never have time to get stuff done.
Can I wear a button that says "Please don't ask me about my LO"?
How do you get about your day?
