I'm going to one of the mega big Just Between Friends consignment sales tomorrow and its the first one I'm going to.
Any tips on what to expect?
I'm looking for a scale and a jumperoo. What have you bought at one of these sales?

I've only been to one, but I'd say go in knowing what you are looking for, buy things that can be easily washed, and be prepared for a long line!!

I went to one last year and by the time I got there, everything was already picked through! I would say go early if you can! And bring cash!

@banana: bingo!I bought a 2nd highchair for my mom's house and a 2nd swing for my mom's house.
I also got a new Ralph Lauren jeans for LO. If I am buying used clothing, it has to be name brand. -
I went to one last summer. I got a swing and an exerssucer, plus sometoys and clothing, for $80! Going again next week. Can't wait!

Ours is no problem to use credit cards. However the can be a line to check out. So plan for time for that.
In searching for gear know what brands/features you are looking for. They may not have the specific brand or latest model but be open to know the differences out there. I usually try to target less than 50% off retail. Most have removable covers that you can wash but try to take the cover off if you can while you are there and see how clean it is underneath. Also make sure all parts/pieces are there.

Have fun looking around, be prepared to find things that you aren't expecting. Don't bring your stroller to some of the pre-sales. Enjoy yourself!
