We've camped a few times with our 12 mo twins! It's work but we love it.

If you are used to cloth, I recommend taking diaper covers for over the disposables if you have them. Helps prevent leaks and blowouts.

Take every medicine type thing that you could possibly need, tylenol, thermometer, etc. Our last trip, DD had severe constipation and DS had a fever and explosive diarrhea.

Take lots of clothing layers and lots of clothes in general, for you and baby. Sometimes I use only a quarter of what I pack and sometimes I wish I had more, but it's better to have too much than have to wear a poopy shirt for three days

New toys for the car ride.

We nap our kids in the ergos, so that's a must have for us. It's a nice chance to take a long family walk and get some downtime. And our kids usually nap shorter, so they often take three instead of two.

Think about LOs food. Are you going to take a high chair, purees, finger foods? Don't forget bibs and probably wet wipes are easier than washcloths. But you may want washcloths for a quick wipe down type bath every night. Used the campground showers once on a long trip and it was kind of insane. Would be easier with two parents and one child though!

How mobile is LO? Crawling, pulling up etc? We found that having a beach mat with a pair of low to ground chairs was an awesome play spot for our kids. They can even crawl all over the chairs without tipping them. We try to keep sleep and play spaces separate.

Think about where LO will sleep. If cosleeping, LO will probably be plenty warm snuggled with you. But in a packnplay, a tent can get cold, so make sure there are lots of layers to keep warm. And do what you can to keep any sleep routines the same as home, bring books, loveys, etc.
