I'm flying solo with E tomorrow and am really nervous about it. I've done it before when he was 6 months old, but he wasn't mobile then, and was mostly content to sit on my lap and play with some toys, and slept a bit.

He can crawl now, and is much more vocal, and I can't really imagine him being ok with being made to sit still for 2.5 hours. I'm planning on bringing puffs and a pouch of baby food to feed him, food is always a good distraction. And I'm going to download some children's books on my nook for him, but he's still a baby, so how long will that hold his attention?

DH keeps telling me not to stress out, that I shouldn't worry if people are bothered if I'm doing all I can to keep him entertained, but I know I'll get all anxious and sweaty if E pitches a fit.

Any other ideas on how to keep him entertained?
