Littlebebe has quite the stuffy nose going on this morning. any tips of how to help him out? Nose Frieda is not an option, unfortunately

Saline drops/mist and a nasal aspirator bulb have worked pretty well for us. She fights the saline but seems to love how it feels after it's over.
ETA: Also, I've heard elevating the head/upper body during naps helps.

@mrbee: LOL. we don't have one and it's currently freezing rain outside so there's no way in hell I'm heading out to get one.

@mrbee: We just got our Nose Frieda when LO was just over 4 months! It took me a while to convince DH it wasn't as gross as he thought and now he's better at it than I am!

Saline nose spray, bulb aspirator (or Nose Frieda), take LO into a steamy bathroom for 10 minutes.

@bebefly: it could never be too cold to get between me and a Nose Frieda!
That said, naps in the stroller can help minimize the impact of congestion. It tends to get worse when lying down...

thanks guys! I guess I'll be putting him down in his swing for naps today & try steaming him later if it gets worse.

@bebefly: how did I not know you were a fellow Canuck? Let me introduce you to my friend well.ca (http://well.ca/brand/nosefrida.html) They stock the nosefrieda and usually deliver in a day or two!! I agree, Amazon.ca stinks!

slather vicks baby rub on his chest and feet. and we let our kids sleep on us or in the bouncer when congested....keeping them upright helps everything drain south.
we're on the tail end of colds here too. it sucks. hang in there.
