Ahhhh I'm in the same boat right now! We are team green, and I LOVE my LO's name so much. We are having a hard time finding both a girl and boy name that is unique (like LO), goes with her name well, and that we both love. I'm over it!!!!

We just have a hard time with a boy name. We have girl names already, both in K, so we want to find a K boy name. But it's tough b/c both of our K girl names are meaningful too and there is nothing we like that sounds good & has meaning!

We're in the same boat. I keep telling myself we have time, but the time just keeps ticking by...

I'm due in August and if one more person asks if we've picked a name yet...

I seriously hate the process and DH and I both keep avoiding it. We both really dislike our names (I dislike my first name so much that I started going by my middle name 14 years ago), so I think we both realize how high-stakes this decision is and how it feels to be the kid whose parents screwed up and gave you a name you don't like or that doesn't fit. Yet DH's last name is SUPER common, so it makes picking a name to go with it even harder, as all the classic names sound so anonymous with his last name. Ugh. I think I'll put it off until the last possible minute.

I just keep avoiding the conversation. We have a short list but it is so monumental that we seem to be procrastinating.

Why can't you choose a name for meaning? LO's meaning is a huge part of why we chose her name. But then meaning is important to me.

But since we are having the same gender, I feel you. It took us a while to agree to a name for M.

I am SO there right now. We have a girl name (well, middle name that she'd go by, but no first name yet), but boy names are impossible. We have some we like, but I don't want to go with something that we think is "okay." Every time we think maybe we've found one, after some thought we decide it's not right. Gah. So frustrating. I'm pretty okay with a boy or a girl in general, but when it comes to naming I REALLY hope we just have a girl and don't have to deal with a boy name this time.

Ugh, I'm there, too. DH and I both made lists of about 20 names that we don't hate and there isn't a single match between the lists. Now every time I bring it up, he jokingly suggests a hybrid of our dogs' names. DD (2 1/2) keeps suggesting that we name the baby "girl." We have 7 weeks left to figure it out, or I guess we'll just call her girl
