I basically just had a normal period. But my miscarriage was very very early and was natural. I'm assuming a D&C is probably different. If you are concerned I would call your doctor.

@MrsCastro: Yuck. I'm sorry. I know having the bleeding stop can be a real turning point in helping to move past this. I hope it stops for your soon.

With my first MC the bleeding lasted about 2 weeks. With the second it was 3 =/ I’m sorry that you’re still going through it….while I was still bleeding I know that having that physical reminder of what was going on made it harder for me.

I did for a while. My heavy bleeding was over by a couple of weeks and then I spotted for a few more. The next few periods were a bit different. I would have a regular flow, stop, and then start again a few days later.
I also had my bleeding after a delivery because at 20 wks a D and C isn't safe anymore.

I bled for a long time. I would say it was pretty steady for a couple of weeks, but then I spotted for weeks, probably about 8. I'm sorry you still have that physical reminder, I found that really hard.

I bled for at least a month, but mine was natural and at 12 weeks, so it seemed never ending. It did taper down. My doctor warned me that if i kept spotting, it could mean there was still tissue inside me. Fun, i know I'm sorry you're going through this.

I'm so sorry to hear you have to constantly be reminded of this sad and painful time. *hugs* I had a total meltdown this past weekend about it.

I bled heavy for about 2 weeks and then spotted on and off for another 2 weeks until I got a period. I also ovulated 2 weeks after miscarrying while still spotting. I miscarried at 8 weeks.
