I had been in early/prodromal labor for over a day before I started having mine! Hopefully this means some things are happening & it won't be too much longer.. *fingers-crossed*

Well I lost my mucus plug a couple weeks before labor. But I had my bloody show and labor started pretty much immediately afterwards and then baby was born 12 hours after that. Good luck!!

Right then. I was having contractions but when I saw blood , I was like, lets have a baby!! I had him 7+h after I saw blood.

Same day. Lost my mucus plug/had my bloody show in the morning, my water broke about 12 hours later.

Same day as well. Had my bloody show in the morning and contractions started (lightly) shortly after. Baby was born at 2:00 a.m. the next day.

@grizz: Hahaha! Excited & gross is how I felt about losing my mucus plug & having bloody show. I believe I started having bloody show about 24 hours before I went into active labor. Good luck

I saw some blood starting at around 5pm. I woke up the next morning around 6:30am with cramping that was the start of my labor. Keep us posted!

@knittylady: I asked one of the labor and delivery nurses I work with (thank goodness I'm close to her! ha!) the difference, and she said that she is guessing I've already lost the majority of the plug if I'm having the bleeding. She acted like the plug comes first.

After the bloody show, I had my son within 24 hours. That was of course, taking into account having 5 shots to stop contractions (water broke at 33 weeks, 7 days). If I hadn't had the shots I would have had LO pretty quickly.

I think I had mine yesterday morning but it could have been from the two cervical checks on Monday. I've read that some people go into labor right away and that it takes a few days for others. Here's hoping you go quickly!!!!

Started seeing bloody show in the morning, water broke at 11:15pm and contractions started immediately. I had her by 10 the next morning.

48 hours after bloody show she was born!

My water started breaking, 10 hrs later I had my blood show/huge water gush, and 20 hours after that LO was born =)

I lost my mucous plug two weeks before I got induced. I never had a bloody show.

I had the mine the day before LO was born! I had the bloody show first thing in the morning (Wed) when I woke up and had super mild cramps (actually they were contractions once I started timing them and realised there was a pattern) all day. By evening they felt like normal cramps and full on labour started at 2:00 am that night. LO was born that evening (Thurs) - I think most things I have read said labour starts within 24 hrs of the show! Good luck!!!!!
