I am 8.5 weeks post partum. DH and I finally tried to have sex but it didn't last long because it hurt and I figured we could wait another week. He informed me after that I smelled "really bad" down there.
I haven't noticed anything. I feel fine. At my 6 week check my doc didn't say anything was off. He did put in my iud and I have bled more since...but now I am paranoid.
I have an appt on the 14th to check the iud but I was just wondering if anyone was experiencing something similar? Any advice?

Sometimes a bacterial infection can happen especially after giving birth (it happened to me with my first) the doctor didn't say anything seemed off during my 6 week check up but then he did a test a few weeks later since I complained of something smelling "off", sure enough I had one and had to be on antibiotics + he prescribed a certain femine wash.
He told me it's common so I wouldn't be worried if I were you but definitely have your doctor test down there next time you go in! -
I have been noticing kind of the same thing, and i am 10 wks post. I thought maybe I should douche just to get everything really clean in there after delivery!
