I'm trying to sign my almost 2-year-old up for some kind of class. We just moved to a new city, so I'm looking to meet people and make friends and give us something fun to do. I'm wondering what kind of classes people most like for their toddlers. We're deciding between a parent/toddler gymnastics class or a music one. We might end up doing both this year eventually, so it isn't a big deal, I'm just wondering what people's experiences are!

We've been taking a parent/toddler gymnastics class for about a year and my son LOVES it. It's a great way for them to burn off some energy, especially in the winter. If you're looking to meet people it might not be great, though, because everybody is pretty occupied with toddler wrangling.

We are also taking a toddler gymnastics class as well. I've also done music classes with my oldest (now 4) when he was a toddler. We also do swim classes on the weekends during the non-summer months.

I did music classes with my older daughter, but just signed my almost 2-year-old up for gymnastics. I would like to do both with her, but she's so active I think she will love gymnastics.

DD has music class built in at daycare; I'm thinking about signing her up for gymnastics too (she's 20 months).

I think it also depends on your LO's temperament. When my LO was younger (12-18 months), he would've hated a gym class. So we did music classes. Now, at 27 months, I think he'd love a gym class, so I'd probably sign him up for that.
