My son has two spots, his tummy for medicine and his finger for kisses or ice. If your baby is only getting rubs, I would follow up.

Yes sometimes DD picks one spot to focus on for days or weeks at a time. She is fascinated by doctors and always says, " ____ hurts! I need a checkup. Kiss it better! It hurts" but it's always been nothing.

I don't know if throwing pains start that early or in that spot, but my DD will periodically complain of pain in her legs which is probably growing pains. I would say if she keeps complaining for another week to call the doctor again...
