What would you do? My little one is 16 months old. She had a runny nose for a week plus high fever. we took her last Saturday to urgent care and they gave us amoxicillin for an ear infection. Now she is coughing nonstop for the last two nights. Plus all day today.
Everyone tells me you can't do anything about a toddler cough, plus she is already on antibiotics so I'm not sure if I should take her to the doctor or not. I hesitate because usually it takes like three hours for sick call and I'm afraid they will tell me they can't do anything for her. I've been giving her the homeopathic cough syrup but I have heard they can get a prescription cough syrup if they're coughing really bad. anyone know?

but we brought her in about 4 times before they diagnosed pneumonia and we tried everything from humidifiers to baby Vicks to just sleeping with her in the recliner so she was upright. I always feel weird bringing her in so many times but you have to trust your instincts and do what you think is best.
