My son loves milk. Our pediatrician says we should limit his intake to @16 oz a day, but we give him more than that, mostly because he begs for it. He is 2 years old. How much milk does your toddler drink per day?

We've always had to limit it as well. He would probably drink the whole gallon if allowed! He just turned 3 and has about 14oz a day.

None! She did drink 20oz/day until last week when she decided she hated it out of nowhere and hasn't had an ounce since. She's 16mo.

We have to limit it as well. DS is 3 and we've had to limit it since right around 2. We alternate between milk, water, and unsweetened almond milk, which our pedi said was fine.

My daughter (16 months) gets about 16-20 oz a day. She often wants more when she finishes a cup, but I just add water to what little milk is left and she's happy with that.

My 2 yo limits it herself so I've never had to worry- she will have maybe 8 oz most days, with her meals. But if you counted yogurt and cheese it would be way more, she would eat a block of cheese a day probably.

A cup or two, maybe? She was drinking a ton and I didn't like that all her calories were from milk, not real food, so I cut back. She's 2.5

DD is almost 3 and we've limited it because she has some constipation issues. We limit all dairy now which seems to help. She has a cup of milk with supper, and that's it (generally).

We limit milk as well. A cup in the am and one at bed so probably 16oz. At daycare he gets some at breakfast and after nap but not on the days he's home.

We don't limit it - I give her as much as she wants. But most days she has 12 - 16 oz so it's not an issue for us.

About 16. But I think I need to cut back because he isn't eating a lot of food. I need him to be hungrier so he actually eats meals.
