Our guest room has gray walls - I want to do some kind of purple bedding and found this - but wondering if its too much gray?

I agree it would not be too much gray; in fact you might find once you have the bedding in the room that the walls start to look more purple than they did before. Gray is tricky that way.

I love gray! We have white walls in our (rented) apartment but basically all our furniture and decor are different shades of gray (lol no pun intended), and I think it looks great together (if I do say so myself
)
