Most definitely! My parents didn't understand the concept of the tooth fairy until my sister came home from school and convinced them that it existed. Of course they had no idea how much to put in, and they were very generous ($10-$20). They would put the money in an egg roll wrapper under my pillow. Fond memories.

DH is adamant we will not have the Tooth Fairy or Easter Bunny or Santa Claus. We will still give the kids money for teeth.

Yes.. We will do the tooth fairy thing. One year I specifically remember my mom sneaking into my room and putting money in my tooth holder under my pillow though! I hope my kids don't catch me

of course we will! it's harmless fun
and, I don't want her to be either the kid that is upset because everyone else has the tooth fairy and she doesn't.....or the kid that spoils everyone else's fun.

@regberadaisy: Definitely. Loved the tooth fairy, especially when she visited me at my grandparent's house. She always gave me the best loot there.

Yes, I will, though I'll aim to do a better job than my parents did... they left a little glass pot containing all the teeth in the kitchen. I couldn't understand why the tooth fairy left them there!

Yep...DS's dentist said he's due for teeth falling out any day, now. I have some dollars ready to go for it.
