@Lozza: I live in Asheville, NC, and it's a wonderful place to live. It's beautiful, has great weather (while still having all 4 seasons), a ton of culture, delicious restaurants, and friendly people. We'll probably only live here for another year or so, and I'll definitely be sad to move.

    Helsinki, Finland
    Bay Area (CA)

@mrs.earrings: I live in Brisbane, I'll trade with you! I love Brissy, absolutely fantastic city to live in, but the South Island of NZ is the most beautiful place on earth. We loved every single thing about it and I would love to live there! Unfortunately, the work for DH is all in Australia, otherwise, we'd skip across the Tasman in a second!

@Ree723: Haha, I would definitely be willing to make that swap! I do love NZ for its natural beauty and outdoor opportunities. But I prefer the warmth of Australia and I think Brisbane is one of the best cities in the world. Hopefully one day my husband and I can make the dream happen

@mrs.earrings: Can't disagree with you that one! Brisbane has all the perks of a big city without many of the drawbacks, not to mention the gorgeous beaches and perfect weather. I hope it works out for you and your DH!

Just realised that my avatar is a pic from Lake Tekapo on the South Island!
