Most respiratory issues are viral, so there isn't much they can do, unfortunately. If she isn't improving at all by Monday, I'd at least call again and discuss any other options.. Our LO also never eats much when sick, just keep her hydrated, she'll eat when she feels better. Last year we were almost force feeding E milkshakes just to get calories in him during a respiratory infection. He was sick for almost two weeks.

@Pumpkin Pie: they didn't take a culture. They diagnosed him based on how he was breathing, listening to his lungs, etc. He will only have milk and water occasionally too. He's not eating. They said that he should start feeling better within a day of starting antibiotics. I hope so.
