We reworked blog search to use a lot of the tweaks we added to boards search last year:
* The search results should be greatly improved
* The layout matches boards search
* You can toggle between blog and boards search (link is in upper right).

Since I've never been able to figure this out, even if it isn't the perfect place to ask, but is there a way to search from the mobile site? Normally I need to switch to the full site to get to the search box.

@Miss Ariel: You can click on the little square with the three lines in it, in the upper left corner of the mobile page!
That should bring up the sidebar, with the search field...

@mrbee: I actually really liked the old Blog search layout because I could see the picture with the blog posts before clicking on it. Further the layout looked more like the blog and seemed prettier. I use the mobile site exclusively so maybe it's just me!

@HTownMom: Definitely agree that it was prettier before! But with search, was thinking that the focus should be on a good search algorithm and easily scannable results.
Would be in your debt if you could try out some searches, and let us know if you find what you were looking for!

@mrbee: I know that in the past, I've tried to find that blog post by Mrs. Bee about hemp milk vs. cow's milk and found it very challenging to find (and ended up just having to scroll through all of Mrs. Bee's blog posts until I found it). But with the new search, it was the first post that came up! So I'd say it's definitely an improvement.

@mrbee: I find the results of the new algorithm to be better but like @HTownMom: I really liked the old layout. I think it is because I'll often remember a post by the pictures used, so the visual component helped me find the right post in the past.
