First month the first pregnancy. It's the second time around that hasn't been so easy...

2nd month. DH was definitely surprised, as was I, because fertility issues run in our family.

1st cycle for us. I had been charting and temping for 9 months prior though and that's the only way I knew to keep DTD until I actually ovulated! Otherwise, I wouldn't have my wonderful 11 month old lady!

2nd month... We were on our honeymoon, so we had a lot of "opportunities"

I got pregnant my second cycle but miscarried. Took 3 months off, didn't ovulate for 2 months, started clomid, and got pregnant on my second cycle on clomid but miscarried. so 9 months passed from when we first started ttc.

Then we took over a year off, and got pregnant the first month accidentally, exactly 2 years after we first started ttc.

Second child we got pregnant the first month.

Though most of my friends had miscarriages, they got pregnant relatively quickly.

7 months, all said and done. Miscarried three months in, then four months later got a BFP. I'm kinda glad I had no idea about charting, etc when I was going through all of that. I'm pretty sure OPKs would have made me crazy.
The big fat question is...do I take all this into account when trying for number 2?
