@Crystal: yes up until last night I really did feel alone in all of this. I am sure he will continue to keep most of his emotions bottled up, but at least now I know the feelings are there.

I'm so grateful that I stumbled upon this board!

First fertility clinic appointment next Friday! I will still be in the 2ww, how amazing would it be if I could start treatment for next cycle. Anyone have any experiences as to whether this is likely or not? Don't get me wrong, I could totally wait until next month if I had to, I mean, it's less than a week since I found this place!

@Crystal: yes the napro doctor. She rang me back personally as her secretary is on annual leave. Just need to get my charts in order!

@katieleigh_82: I knew what you meant I bet it must feel like an age! Maybe try for a cancelation? I was lucky, the next available appointment would have been end of Marchand we couldn't have made it.

@Crystal: Hi there! Thanks for checking in Sorry it took me a little while to get back - I was getting all Valentinesy yesterday It was a nice day. I'm in the Boston area so we were getting slammed by a snow storm this weekend, which was totally fine with me! It was perfect weather for staying in and cooking, having some wine, and making a fire in the fireplace. Cozy! How about you? Did you guys do anything fun? Hope you had a nice day!

@Mrs. Chickadee: we had a lazy valentines day, but had a fun date night over the weekend. It was a wonderful way to kick off O week! Lol

    @Snowdrop: any more updates?!

@Snowdrop: I am definitely gonna push for a cancelation, right now I'm in the same boat trying to gather records so once I get everything I'll start stalking them lol.

@TAM I have had exersize elongate my cycle before. It's so hard to be late and think "this must be it!" But then not get any defiance answers in either direction. Those months are the hardest!

Speaking if exersize I really need to make it to the gym this week but myself really doesn't want to. I need to find a gym buddy. Anyone else strugge? I think it will boost my fertility but I've got a real aversion.

@katieleigh_82 a few months ago there was a story in my local news paper written by a husband struggling with fertility, I too forget that my husband, for lack of better words, cares. Anyway, before I read that article I hadn't ever thought about my DH's feelings, it's nice that you could have a conversation with your spouse.

@LalaYes: I'm right there with you on struggling to go to the gym. I was going pretty consistently last year, but I have really dropped off this year.

@Crystal: and @LalaYes: I think finding fun classes helps keep me at the gym. Or else even just going for a walk or a jog each day is better than nothing.

Girls... I am just at the start of my 10th cycle TTC. Did you start, or are you starting, anything new to help you TTC around this time?

I started temping last month and, based on that one month, I think I am ovulating a day or two later than when I assumed while just using OPKs. I hope temping helps (since its a bitch to do every morning). I will now BD a few days past when I normally stop.

I added royal jelly to my and DH's maca powder smoothies. (Just started maca powder three weeks ago.)

    What else can I do??

@Crystal: well still waiting on Friday, have another 13.5 hr shift and a shorter 6hr one till then whilst needing to get charts in order eeek!

Got Fridays 21 day bloods back today from my regular doc, prolactin is double the upper limit (I looked it up) but apparently it is satisfactory according to my GP....yeah.... And progesterone was surprise surprise 2. She left the instruction, please take on day 21, it was day 21!!!!

@katieleigh_82: Getting charts in order is quite a job!

@MrsMcD: My activity really stalled after the MC, and I was just depressed for awhile after that. You are totally right, I need to get up and move at least for a little bit, every day.

Hugs to starting Cycle 10. I am a bit behind you, but I am pulling for you!!!!!

I am going to try temping next cycle and royal jelly if we don't get our BFP this month.

Ladies, I want a baby so badly.

I used to worry about the timing of giving birth with work, planning around vacation or fun life events, etc .

Now, I would give birth while standing on my head in the middle of a snowstorm if it meant I could have a baby.

I am jealous when I hear about sleepless nights, horrible morning sickness, crabby babies, staying up all night for school projects. I *want* all that.

Sorry for the vent, I just had to let it out somewhere.

  17. Crystal

@Snowdrop: So you officially discovered your progesterone level was down? I am so happy this clinic is taking your concerns seriously!!! Hopefully the progesterone will give you your BFP.

We are considering moving closer out that way depending on DHs job, so maybe sometime in the future!

@crystal, I too used to try to plan pregnancies around the rest of my life, I didn't want to give birth in December or have my first trimester in the fall, but now I am just thinking "whenever would be great!" It's so hard to not really have control, I feel like it doesn't matter how hard I try or what new things I do, if it's not meant to be this month....

@mrsmcd Good luck this month! What's royal jelly? I hate temping, I tried it for a few months but couldn't keep it up.

I will try to go for a walk every day, that is a good step, thank you.

@LalaYes: so much of it is up to chance, try as we might!

Are you using OPKs or tracking at all?

So it's 'O' week for me, my estimated O day is this Sunday, DH was asleep when I got home Tuesday, I worked last night and again tonight so won't see him til tomorrow....do you guys think we should try to BD Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and maybe Monday, or just stick to EOD? I feel like my work schedule is kind of getting in the way this month and I'm not quite sure how to approach things.

  23. katieleigh_82

@Snowdrop: looking forward to hearing all about your appointment tomorrow!!!!! Hopefully you were able to get all your records together in time.

@katieleigh_82: just got my test results in order! I am nervous!
I would only go for more than EOD if you are sure he has the stamina for it, otherwise you might end up missing a really important day.

@Crystal: Not sure about progesterone as it keeps being done on day 21 but not 7dpo. Thing is, as far as my doc is concerned that is the right day so she should want to do something instead of just keep saying 'repeat on day 21'.

@LalaYes: Gone are the days I thought I'd rather not have a Christmas baby!

@Crystal: A move out more by me? Yippee!

@LalaYes: Hi! I'm not totally sure about Royal Jelly. Its something the bees bring to the queen bee so that she makes a lot more baby bees, I think. I've been adding it to shakes in the morning for DH and I. I don't know how it changes the taste, if at all. I put so much sh*t in the shakes like maca powder and flaxseed that "good taste" is really the last on my list of concerns.

@katieleigh_82: thanks for checking in on everyone! Nothing new for me. About to be on CD 9 of cycle 10. I'm convinced the maca powder/royal jelly smoothie I've been giving to me and DH in the morning is giving me insomnia and DH chest pains. But I can't bear to give it up!

How are you? How is everyone else?

CD 47 for me, BFN this morning. Dont feel pregnant but dont feel like AF is on her way either.

  32. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

    @katieleigh_82: thanks for checking in!

I am pretty sure I ovulated today. We have been kinda off today and snippy with each other, so I'm not sure well get in another session of BDing. I hope our timing was good enough.

  33. Snowdrop

    pear / 1846 posts

@Crystal: It's 0-1 and O-2 that count most so don't worry too much.

@katieleigh_82: Great, I should begin treatment after three more cycles of tests etc. Of course, the bit of me which wants to be pregnant yesterday is already getting impatient but I am happy we have a plan.

I am 10dpo today, this has been my easiest TWW yet but yesterday I found myself googling no symptoms bfp....fail!

@Tam: Sorry to hear about your bfn. When is AF due?

@Snowdrop: I'm going to wait till this weekend and if AF is a no show, I will book an appointment. Hate this waiting in limbo. I need answers now.

@MrsMcD: Oh no that is horrible that the smoothie is causing problems...hopefully this will be your BFP cycle and you can stop drinking them soon!

@Crystal: I hope your timing was good, sounds like we are pretty close on our cycles. I'm currently CD15, with a positive OPK yesterday. I am still a little confused on how to write out when we BD'd like I see people write o-1, o-2 does that mean before you O?

@Snowdrop: glad you at least have a plan, sucks it's a 3 months of testing plan, but something is better than nothing.

@Tam: I agree with everyone else, sounds like it's time to make an appointment.

  38. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@Snowdrop: lol- google will get you every time.

@MrsMcD: eek! That sounds awful! Maybe once you get used to it?

@katieleigh_82: yeah, O-1 means BD the day before ovulation. O+1 means the day after.

DH and I tried to BD last night. We failed. Twice. Super awkward, lol. Hoping to get in one last attempt tonight, just in case. I had a positive OPK in the afternoon on Saturday, which is why I really wanted to hit Sunday. Hopefully tonight will help solidify a BFP.

I go back and forth between feeling really positive about this cycle to feeling kinda defeated. I'm trying to hold on to the hope.

  39. katieleigh_82

    cherry / 173 posts

@Crystal: thank you that's helpful to know so I can shorten things up lol! So I'm not feeling super confident in timing this month our schedules really got in the way. We hit o-5, o-1, & o. I won't see dh before I leave for work tonight or tomorrow so by Wednesday it will be 3dpo and I assume too late.

  40. Snowdrop

    pear / 1846 posts

@katieleigh_82: I personally wouldn't put myself under pressure for O+3.

@Crystal: That deflated feeling is horrible, but I d wonder, is it better to go through the entire month feeling positive and then be devastated by AF or expect AF feel deflated most of the month but not be as heart broken in the end??

Well AF 'could' have arrived yesterday but I will most likely start spotting tonight or possibly tomorrow. I was so chilled out about this month and then I thought, hmmm maybe I will be one of those people who make an appointment then get their BFP. Urgh why do I do this? Also I do not have sore nipples this month and do have vivid dreams....but I have had that before and it was BFN so....
