@Crystal: and @katieleigh_82: I was mostly joking. I am not medically sure that maca and/or royal jelly is causing either of us side effects. In any event, we are both fine today!
@Snowdrop: that's great you are so far into your TWW! Remember, most girls do not experience any symptoms at all.
@Crystal: you can never really know when you ovulate. So I am sure that you only helped your chances by BDing last night.
@katieleigh_82: I will still do it wednesday. Even if its just for fun. You really cannot be sure when you ovulate. I suspect that I have been stopping the BDing train days too early. I don't trust OPKs. So do it!

@MrsMcD: I was thinking the same thing about maybe we're stopping the whole BD thing too early, and if I do put the moves on dh tonight he think it's way too late anyways and that he's getting bonus sex lol which is probably good I feel like he probably thinks I only want him for one thing these days!
I have awesome news, I was given another RE's name based off of 2 awesome experiences friends had with him. I ckeared it with my OB that he does in fact also use this group which I prefer because they're both through the same health system and affiliated with several local hospitals, and this other place they sent me was just a free standing fertility clinic. Well I called the new place today and I now have an appointment for next week 3/4!!!!!! So much better than 4/10! Of course I'm still hoping that I'll go for my consult and won't need to use them since my POAS date is 3/8. As of my appointment date if I go off my OPKs I'll be 9 DPO so likely too early to know yet.
How is everyone else doing this week?

@katieleigh_82: That's great you found a new RE! And one with recommendations you trust. Cheers to that!

@katieleigh_82: great news! There's nothing worse than waiting when TTC, yet that's all we seem to do!

I'm 10DPO and been a little sick. I'm excited about my temps but nervous for tomorrow. We're on cycle 11, and it's hard to not feel that "it's never gonna happen." My chart looks good, but not sure if the higher temps haven't been my body trying to fight off this illness.
I've been hoping that my SILs don't get pregnant before me. Last night, one of them had issues and I think is pregnant or just had a miscarriage. I can't even explain why this is hard, but I figured you ladies would understand.

@AmeliaBedilia: That chart does look good, when does your temp normally drop?
I understand, I found out on Friday night that a friend who started TTC same time as me just had a miscarriage. It was awful, I felt so much empathy towards what she is going through but at the same time I was sad for me because I'd never even seen a BFP and she had, the of course I felt awful and so guilty for being jealous of someone who had just gone through that.

@Snowdrop: Temp usually drips 11DPO. So nervous for tomorrow. I don't feel well, and it is snowing like crazy here. I had several things I wanted to accomplish today but feeling guilt over taking it easy today (which is what I probably should do).

@AmeliaBedilia: I will be looking for an update tomorrow then
As for me, I'm in such a positive mood after my lesson and finding out I can start blood tests this month instead of next month! Isn't it strange how things affect your mood when TTC? Really is uch a roller coaster!
nectarine / 2192 posts
@Snowdrop: So glad to hear that things are looking up.
I had some weird dreams last night, including carrying around a pregnancy test in the form of a watch, with two lines on it. I was really happy, then woke up and realized it was a dream. I also had some dream that involved a job I am trying to get that was positive, but I can't remember the details. I really hope this is God telling me it will all be alright.

@Snowdrop: glad you can start testing done than you thought!!
@AmeliaBedilia: Any updates on your end?
I am feeling great today, had my first appointment with the RE today and he said he was so glad I was there now. He said with my medical history I could have walked in there 3 months ago and he would have started testing then no questions asked (darn!) He drew blood today, I'm scheduled for an US and HSG next Thursday, and boarded for a laparoscopy on 3/18, he also gave me an rx for DH to get a SA!!! He is so on top of things I'm still in shock at how fast this is all happening. How is everyone else doing this month?
pear / 1846 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: lots of people get BFP dreams when it's their month
@katieleigh_82: Wow that is fast but really good too. K'm so glad things are moving quickly for you!

@katieleigh_82: that is fast, but great news!!!
@AmeliaBedilia: I had a weird dream that I had a baby and was carrying it around in a carseat carrier. These dreams are making equally sad and hopeful.
I really hope that your temps are up for a great reason!!!!! I can't wait to hear!
@Snowdrop: Yay for starting blood tests this month! You don't have to abstain after that, right?
pear / 1846 posts
@Crystal: yeah its just this month we have to abstain to get used to cm tracking properly. I am tempted to just go for it on an importsnt day but then i think.... hasn't worked all the other months...

@Snowdrop: Are you learning anything about your body? I am so happy you are starting the process to get your your amazing baby,
pear / 1846 posts
@Crystal: kind of but i did pay lots of attention before anyway. Its just more documented now which is what the doctor needs to diagnose. For example, i knew i had light bleeding but didn't realise how bad. Ive had one day if moderate flow followed by 6 days of brown spotting!! Ive only been charting a week and a half so not learnt any more than that. I would really recomend learning it. We will use it for birth control one day hopefully

That is so crazy everyone is having BFP dreams, I had one the other day too and it just seemed so real to me!
@Snowdrop: that is great you are starting to learn more about your body.
Yes it's crazy how yesterday I was stuck in a TTC rut and today I just feel so much more confident about things. I'm nervous about what these tests and the surgery will show though...my last lap and HSG were 10 years ago so who knows how much worse my endo is.

Day 13DPO, and my temp is still up. AF due yesterday or today. I will probably test tomorrow. Hopeful, but a little of the "OMG, we're not ready for this!"
cherry / 173 posts
I'm in total shock right now...AF was due today and of course me being the impatient one that I am, I decided to test...BFP !!!I tested last Tuesday right before my appointment with the RE at 9DPO, BFN, but today it popped right up. I am hysterically crying right now and of course DH had to work today!!!
nectarine / 2192 posts
@katieleigh_82: OMG, that's awesome! So happy for you. How many cycles have you been trying?
AF came, now on CD3. Trying to figure out a better way to deal emotionally so it doesn't hurt so much.
cherry / 173 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: I'm so sorry sweetie I never figured out a better way to cope, but wine sure helps! Today would have been the start of cycle#8 for us. Guess I can cancel all the tests and procedures that the RE ordered. I'm still kind of dumbfounded to be honest. I go from smiling/laughing, to crying (happy tears of course), but I'm just trying to wrap my head around this. Hopefully I can get it together before DH gets home.
nectarine / 2192 posts
@katieleigh_82: I think the mind shift would be so hard, and this is so huge! Even if you don't "get it together," I think your DH will be so happy he won't care. If you want to try, maybe watch some funny movie, go shopping, work out?
cherry / 173 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: I was able to distract myself for a little while because I was trying to come up with a cute way to tell him. he has a massive sweet tooth so I went to a local bakery that makes these awesome cutout cookies, and I had them write on a couple of the cookies for me.
I hope you ladies don't mind if I stick around on this board and cheer you on. I am hoping and praying that maybe I got the ball rolling and now BFPs are gonna start popping up on this thread like crazy
pear / 1846 posts
@katieleigh_82: wow congrats. it will be lovely to have you stick around as a cheerleader!

Well I had a repeat ultra sound today to follow up on the one they found a cyst on (I was pretty sure it wasn't a cyst) get there expecting an external one like last time...erm no....good job I was wearing nice socks!
So anyway, confirmed I have anteverted womb and fibroid, no cyst as I suspected and he said the lining of my womb was normal, this is great but I am a little confused because of my super light periods!

@Snowdrop: Glad for a good report.
@Crystal: How are you doing, cycle twin?
cherry / 173 posts
@Snowdrop: lol good thing you had on nice socks! Yay for good news but sorry it left you feeling confused, that is the worst.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@katieleigh_82: I'm not yet doing as good as you. But just chilling in my 10th TWW. Meh.
ETA: How are YOU doing!?!
cherry / 173 posts
@MrsMcD: Awww I'm sorry I've been thinking about all of you and letting on the board waiting for any posts/updates from anyone. I am doing well so far had 2 hcgs done, one Monday and the 2nd today and it more than doubled so I picked up my lovenox prescription today. First appt isn't until 4/16. I'll keep my fx for you, what's your POAS date?
persimmon / 1404 posts
Hi ladies, I just discovered this board so I hope it's ok that I join!
Decade (Age: 20s/30s/ect): I'm 29, I'll be 30 in a few months
Cycle #: I don't even know anymore... We have been TTC/NTNP for about 2.5 years in total. We have mild MFI and possibly PCOS
Did you spend any time NTNP? How long? Yes. Over the past 2.5 years we have NTNP and TTC, some months we actively TTC and other months we just NTNP
Have you had any BFPs? Yes. Just over 2.5 years ago I had a miscarriage. I had no idea I was pregnant until it was too late
How long is your usual cycle? 28-29 days
Conception Tools (OPKs, ect.): OPK's, charting and I'm going to start temping this month.
Fertility Aids/Medications: I have tried Fertilitea, Chinese herbs and vitamins
Do you track 2WW symptoms?: No. I did for a long time but it made me crazy and PMS and pregnancy symptoms are so similar that it would just create more disappointment
How do you stay positive? I try to focus on other things, and when I feel really down (which isn't that often anymore), I start planning the things we can do without kids
CD: 28
POAS date: I don't test unless I'm 3+ days late, which I won't be this time because I already have cramps.
