This is a just-for-fun spin off of yesterday's thread about buying things for baby before you are expecting. Do you have a pinterest board for baby stuff or have you exercised self control?
I held out until they came out with secret boards a few months ago. I just peeked and I have 78 pins on there-- some products, some nursery inspiration, and some tips I hope I don't forget when the time comes. How about you?

I have a huge "I have baby fever' board that I created before Pinterest had secret boards.
I'm still waiting for the day to change the name of the board to something else.

Yes I do. I have it secret because I don't want people knowing I an TTC, but I have pinned a ton of stuff to it.

I created a "One Day" board before the secret ones came out. I'm not on Pinterest much anymore though so no one sees new pins now that we're TTC!

Surprisingly, I don't. I honestly haven't used Pinterest for much in the way of home decorating. It's mostly been for recipes, workouts, and wedding inspiration.

I started a few baby boards pre-TTC because the info/photograph was informative and I didn't want to lose it. All my boards were public so it raised a few curious eyebrows, but I didn't care.

Lol, I have zero idea how Pintrest works (or even how it's spelled), but I do have a baby folder in my "bookmarks" bar on my computer...and my phone...

As soon as they created the secret ones, I did start a 'mat' one (even my secret board had a subtle name!). I saw a lot of photography tips that I wanted to save, then it expanded to nursery ideas. I'm pregnant now but still use the secret ones I'd started.

I had one public board before pinterest created secret boards. Once I was pregnant I added three baby-related secret boards.

I have a public one and a cpl secret ones. The public one was one of the first ones I started, Maybe for a babe, and I think bc Ive been pinning to it for so long, no one really notices it. No one has ever asked me if we are preggo, haha, thats how often I pin to it! The secret ones are more for parenting articles (med free birth, breastfeeding, BLW, babywearing, etc...) that I dont want to hear from the peanut gallery on

I have a public one that I had a long time ago. I didn't pin much on it though because I didn't want people to think we were TTC. It was more cutesy kid stuff. Then I have a secret babies board where I have products I've researched and like, nursery inspiration, tips, announcement ideas, and what not.

Secret boards didn't come out until after we already knew we were adopting, so I had an out in the open baby board...which caused for many "are you pregnant????" Questions. I just knew we were having a baby one way or another and I NEEDED to pin.

Before Pinterest had secret boards I had a running email thread with myself that i would keep emailing links to pins and added to it over time. As soon as pinterest allowed secret, i added THREE secret boards (nursery, general baby stuff, and baby photography). And we're still a year out from TTC. I'm a nut job.

I don't have one now, but I'm going to start a secret board for nursery ideas, parenting tips and cute clothes there's so much exciting stuff out there, no way I remember it all once I'm KU.

Yes, but secret, I broke it down into Pregnancy, Nursery Ideas, and Tips for Newborns, that way, when/if we get pregnant and start telling people, I can make the boards public!

I created a "planning ahead, but not any time soon" board to save really great ideas to before secret boards came out. My mom is on Pinterest and wants me to have babies yesterday, so I named it that to keep her from getting too excited. I now have a private board that I pin to more often, since other people won't see all my baby pins and ask questions. We're still waiting to ttc, but I love to plan!

I created a baby and maternity secret board, but had a few friends that were expecting and I talked with them about ideas I found and they were wanting to see my pins. So I made them unsecret. I had a couple people ask if I was TTC, but I said no and it very quickly blew over and no one has asked me since. I think there are plenty of other circumstances that people will think you are TTC (such as getting married) that pinterest is the least of the worries.
