@sorrycharlie: I got a BFP this morning! I'm like you.... I have immediately started stressing about all the things that can go wrong but I'm trying to stay as positive as possible. I think you and I are only about two days apart so we'll stick together and get through the stress! : )

@mrsjyw: Thank you thank you! I'm still having a hard time believing it. I think I'll need a few more days of BFP's before I'm sure of it : )

@MamaMoose: OMG YAY!!!! Fingers crossed we get to the end together!! When's your edd? Mine varies between Sep 25-26!

@MamaMoose: congrats!!!!!
I'm just hanging out on CD12, no idea when I'll O!!! I think we'll BD every other day until I get my post-O symptoms just to be safe

@sorrycharlie: EDD according to my last period is Sept 26th but I have a 32 day cycle and O'd on Day 17 so according to O date it's Sept 28th. Which is perfect for me because 12 weeks maternity plus some extra sick/vacation days will mean I'll come back to work right at the first of the year which was what we were hoping for. I'm really really hoping it sticks (and that I'm not one of the tiny population who got a false positive). We are so close to each other!

I don't know if this is our month or not. I had a ton of symptoms at first, and now I have absolutely nothing! Not testing until next week, though.

Does anyone here have obnoxiously long cycles? I have had 4 since going off the pill, 35, 46, 46, and a whopping 58 days!!!
I'm not sure when I should talk to my doctor, since technically we're only NTNT.

@sslm: Were your cycles shorter than that before you ever went on BC? I would probably call your doc at this point, it seems a little strange to me that your cycles are getting longer rather than regulating to a shorter cycle.

@MamaMoose: I'm not sure what my cycles were like before, I went on the pill when I was 15 because of some horrible cramps/periods. I think I am going to call my doctor tomorrow and set something up. Couldn't hurt Thanks!

I got off of hormonal BC in August 2010, and I had very similar cycles to yours. We weren't trying but I tried to keep track of the start dates every month just because. It was strange because they'd be long/short/long/short/etc until they almost regulated at 33. Then out of nowhere it was about 60 days and they were irregular again. Then my last 3 cycles from Oct-Dec were 34 days each exactly. Got pregnant in December. I still have no idea what happened to my periods, lol.

@googly-eyes: thanks for sharing! That makes me feel a little more "normal"
I managed to get an appointment with my doctor for tomorrow. I'm hoping she doesn't blow me off!!

@SSLM: I got off BC at the end of September and have been having long, strange cycles too. My first one was about four weeks, the second was six, and my current one is five weeks and counting. My doctor told me that this was normal coming off BC and that BD'ing more often would help regulate my cycles! And, you know, increase the likelihood of getting pregnant, so it's all win-win as far as I'm concerned!

Good grief. My cycles keep getting longer each month since going off BC. I FINALLY O'd! We will see! Finally in for this month.

Wow! Gone for a week and come back to two BFPs! This is an excellent thread for me to be hanging around on...hope some of that baby-luck comes my way. CONGRATS to @MamaMoose and @SorryCharlie!
I'm on CD13 today, and I'm expecting O around CD18. Not temping this month because I forgot my thermometer when we went away on vacation, and I can't seem to find it now, so I'll take a little break. Plus, we're sticking to a schedule that my RE gave us, so there's not much we could change even if I DID know when I O-ed. Haven't decided whether or not I'm going to use OPKs this month - I haven't really gotten to the point where I trust them to predict O within a certain period (its ranged from 24 hours later to 3 days later).
Sorry for the ramble! How's everyone doing?

@redsmarties: Our cycles are pretty close! I'm on CD 15 today. Expecting to O sometime this week. Good luck! Come join us on the POAS for beg of Feb thread.

First month of trying here, and AF issupposed to arrive today, no sign yet of her making an apperance but no real symptoms yet for either her or BFP. I'll test on Friday if she hasn't appeared. Not getting my hopes up though for this month.

I'm on CD 16 and no signs of O. I am still hoping for a normal-ish cycle at this point but it's hard to stay positive.

Should we do an intro/recap to get to know one another? I'll start and if you're interested you can follow
Age/partner's age: I'm 27 tomorrow! DH is 25.
# cycles TTC: this is our first!!
Length of typical cycle: so far anywhere from 36 to 58 days.
Known issues: long cycles, possibly not ovulating
Current CD: 16 and no O yet
Words of wisdom? Obviously nothing yet. Just trying to be patient and stay positive.
