    @MrsLilybugg: GOOD LUCK!!!!!!... sorry about the frustration at dr's office!! ugh!

    @adira: I haven't been temping/charting... just OPKs, CM...

    @MrsLilybugg: Wow! Good for you for being so proactive!!! I'm glad that it sounds like everything's normal for you, but man! That really sucks about your DH's PCP! How can he be so clueless??? Even if he doesn't know anything about infertility issues, can't he just refer your husband somewhere??? That sounds like such a pain!!! I hope you're able to knock some sense into him and get some results! Good luck!

    @mrsjyw: Oh, okay! I was curious what your temps were doing. I hope AF stays away for you!!!!

    @oliviaoblivia: Yes, I THINK it's a week late!! If I am counting from last "real" period which started December 30. I had a week of spotting (or light bleeding) 17 weeks later. So not sure if THAT was a period, or if my real period is just really late. Bonkers!!!!!!!

    17 DAYS later, not weeks. lol

    @Adira: thank you!!! yes it is SUCH a pain trying to get through to his dr- it's almost hilarious, if it weren't so frustrating. grrr.

    @MrsLilybugg: I can't believe your DH's doctor is being such an idiot! I'm sorry you have to deal with that.

    @MrsLilybugg: It's great you're being so proactive, but sucks about your DH's doc. Maybe he can switch primary care physicians to someone who will give him a referral? Wish you all the best!

    @mrskc: That's what I was thinking, too.
    @MrsLilybugg: Maybe your DH needs a new Dr. It would be tough to go to someone so unwilling to help. It's not like SA is some unheard of request. You think the Dr. would be happy to help!

    Yes, I definitely will suggest that my DH go to a new M.D. if the doc is resistant to providing a simple "work order" for the lab. Ridiculous!! DH will probably call again tomorrow. He's still annoyed at the wall he ran into yesterday

    @mrskc - Thanks!

    I got so excited when we I went off BC that I told a lot of my friends and my parents. I kinda wish I hadn't blabbed it to so many people since it is taking longer for my body to regulate then I had anticipated.

    My dad is a doctor and I never thought I'd be calling him up to talk about periods and ovulation haha!

    Wishing everyone some serious luck and lots of baby dust! With DH and I stopping TTC it makes me want it even more now. Just going to have to "live it" through all of you!

    @mrsjyw: I'm sorry, I was hoping to look on here and see your BFP! This is so hard...

    This 2ww I really feel like I'm going crazy. One day I think I'm definitely pregnant, the next I feel nothing. I keep waking up with crazy dreams and can't go back to sleep. I know all this stress is counterproductive, but I just can't help myself. I took an OPK yesterday at 7 DPO, and I got all depressed that it came back negative, my friends all got several days of positives on those before they got an official BFP. I know it's silly... I just don't know what to do with myself.

    @kml636: I'm sorry you're having such a rough time. This whole process is so hard, I think for everyone. We're all here for you though!!! And you definitely shouldn't feel out at 7 dpo. That's silly. Implantation may not have happened yet!

    @kml636: i'm sorry you're having a hard time!! i totally understand! Still no AF. but I've accepted that I've probably stressed myself out for a longer wait 'til AF shows up. At this point... I'm over it and just want a fresh start!

    @kml636: I wouldn't think that an OPK would be positive at 7DPO. Doesn't it just predict the time right before ovulation? I never heard of them staying positive if you are pregnant (or not pregnant). Anyone else?

    @GreenThumb: @kml636: I was going to say the same thing - I thought OPKs just predicted around ovulation. I don't think a negative OPK at 7 DOP really means anything, so I wouldn't put much stock into that.

    @GreenThumb: Apparently they will detect HCG as well. Here's an article I found:

    An OPK can indicate pregnancy - but I don't think you produce HCG until implantation, which can as late as 12 DPO.

    Like others have said, OPKs can detect HCG, however, from what I've read, they're not as sensitive as a pregnancy test. On the site that SSLM linked, the bottom set of photos showed that the OPK didn't turn positive until she got her BFP pregnancy test at 12 DPO. I wouldn't worry too much about the negative OPK!

    Can a sore neck be a sign of anything, haha? I suddenly got a sore neck, right in the front close to where my neck connects to my head/jaw area. Did I just strain something, or could this be a symptom?

    Hi ladies! I'm new to the board, but wanted to jump in. We are currently in cycle 4. AF is now officially 8 days late. I've taken 3 hpts, all bfn. I'm starting to feel like I'm losing my mind. We're behaving as though I'm pregnant, but it's complete torture not knowing. Anyone else experience this? I'm trying to decide when to call my doctor and ask for a blood test and/or exam. We both have off on Monday. Should I call, or will I just sound insane?
