Any ladies have tips or success stories of BFPs with a crazy travel schedule?
My DH travels Monday - Thursday for work (leaves between 4am Monday morning and returns at 11pm on Thursday evenings). This doesn't leave us much time for BDing and I think we totally missed my fertile window this month 
Would love to hear some success stories and/or tips on how to deal with crazy travel schedules.

All I can think is make sure you BD Sunday night and Friday morning (then regular BD over the weekend, EOD or whatever). Sperm can live 3-4 days inside you, so that would give you the best chances of still conceiving while DH is away. Good luck!

@pui: yes that is the plan but I feel like designating a day we have to BD is a lot of pressure! I guess our schedule doesn't allow for a lot of spontaneity anymore

Using pre seed may help, too. It mimics ewcm, which helps sperm to live longer once they've gotten up there. And I would say that even though you can't use a lot of days, I also read that not DTD for a few days helps to make semen more concentrated, so that is good news on that front.
Don't despair, lady. It happened once, it can happen again!

With that schedule, some months won't work, but on other months your fertile time will be during the time when your DH is home.
A TCM acupuncturist might be able to a manipulate your cycles.

Can he adjust his schedule if it will help? E.g., work from Tue-Fri if you know you will be ovulating on a Tue or Wed?

I don't have any tips or success stories, but I can commiserate! I'm living abroad for my dissertation research right now and it makes ttc so hard. we only get to see each other about once a month and our visits aren't planned according to my fertility--they;re just when it worked logistically (like, I was just home for a week for a wedding). plus I don't actually know when I'm ovulating--my cycles have been really irregular since going off bcp. So it's frustrating, I just keep trying to be patient--it'll happen eventually, it'll just take longer than if we were in the same place all the time.

@LovelyPlum: Thanks, I've never heard of it (other than on the HB boards) so I may have to do a little research on that.
@ElbieKay: Unfortunately his schedule is a little crazy and at the whim of clients/partners. Sometimes he doesn't find out he had to fly out until the night before. If I get desperate in the future I may just have to fly out to meet him for a mid-week romp!

@NorCalWayfarer: my DH works out of town on a 3-2-2-3 schedule. That means he works 3 days, is off 2 days, works 2 day, off 3 days. To add to the problem, he switches between days and nights AND he works 2.5 hours away. If he is working off nights and going to days, he usually doesn't come home; he stays at our other home, so that limits our time even more. I'm currently 28 weeks with #2. We lost #1 at 20 weeks last year. It took us another 7-8 months to get pregnant again, but we just took each month as it came. I couldn't pressure DH to bd every time he was home, but we made it count when he was home. I honestly think we got lucky this time the night before I ovulated and the night before he had to go back to work. Good luck! I tried not to stress because I knew that would add another problem to our situation. But, that's easier said than done.

DH was traveling Mon-Thurs when i got preggo. We DTD on Sunday night, I think I ovulated on Weds, and then we DTD again on Thurs just in case I ovulated Thurs. It worked! Do not worry too much, it can and has happened
