We need a twin mattress next week, don't have time to do a lot of research because I am a bad planner. I figured my choices are either Ikea (since I'm going on Friday) or a quick Amazon prime order. If you've purchased from either place, any suggestions??

Check your local mattress shops too! We bought our queen mattress from a local chain and were able to take it home that day (we had to drive to another location, but it was only about 10 minutes away).

We got a full-size mattress from Sam's that we've been really happy with. We ordered online and it was delivered, but I don't remember how long it took. They have some in the store, too, I think.

I have an Ikea mattress in my camper that I love. I recommend that over Amazon Prime because a lot of the negative reviews are because the mattress smells really bad for a few days after you open it. Ikea mattress didn't have that problem.

DH and I just bought a bed from Mattress Warehouse were surprised they could deliver the follow week (ordered on a sunday, had it by that Friday)

We got one from Amazon - looks like now its super discounted but not available for prime / the shipping cost makes it equal what we paid when it was on prime. That said it is really comfortable!

I got this one on Overstock a few years ago and really like it. 3-6 day shipping is free, but you can see how much expedited shipping would be to your zip code.
ETA - checked my emails and saw that I ordered it on a Thursday and had it the next Tuesday if that helps
