How soon can you tell if you are going to have twins? I'm getting mixed answers from Google, but I know there are moms of multiples on here!
I had a very strong feeling I was pregnant before I found out, and got an unbelievable amount of signs that I was. Now I am pregnant and am seeing double, there are twins every.where. Shows about twins on TV, double stroller spam e-mails, a number 4 chizzled into the garage in our new house, I'm almost sure i'm going to have twins!

When is your first u/s? The tech should be able to tell you how many sacs (depending on type of twins) they see or how many heartbeats.

I have no idea, because I am as far along as you so no u/s for a few weeks, but part of me thinks this is a possibility - partly because my BFP was so crazy dark at 9/10dpo, and partly because I'm a bit older than average and that apparently increases the likelihood of it happening (I guess you start releasing more than one egg at a time in your mid-30s?). Hoping to get my hcg tested today at my first doc appt and that should be a good indication too! I think it's pretty unlikely, though.

At your first ultrasound they will tell you... Depends on when you go in for that.

Yeah at your first ultrasound, because they will be able to see and hear both heartbeats
