If you had to choose only one option, would you rather have two cars in your household, or two computers? Why?
We only have one of each, and tonight, we've both got work to do. It's making me realize: we need another computer!!

We currently have 1 vehicle & are a-okay with that! Only 1 fuel cost & 1 insurance premium! We also only have 1 good computer (DH does have one but it's definitely time for a trade in so he uses mine)... having to share my blessed laptop is hard for both of us! lol

Hmm I don't think I would want to share my computer, I use it too much

We currently have 1 car and 2 computers and it works great. We live in the city so definitely don't drive that much. We could have one computer-- we did for a while-- but it's nice to have two. Since we both have iphones and neither of us work from home that often, though, it would be very doable.
We won't get a second car until we move to the burbs in a few years. We only have one parking space in our building and neither of us want to go back to city street parking!!

Probably two computers. We actually currently have 6 computers in our house (don't ask!) but we also have 2 vehicles plus DH's work vehicle.

We both need a car in order to get around so I voted car. That being said... we own 2 cars but several more computers...

We currently have two of each but if I had to pick, I would want 2 computers because we both work from home during the week.

2 cars! DH has to have to car to get to work. I would go crazy if we were stuck here all the time.

Please disregard my vote in the poll! I voted for "one of each is fine for us" but I was reading too quickly because I thought it said one of each for each of us." Ha. I guess if one of us worked from home or really close by, I would rather have 1 car, but we drive in opposite directions and leave 2 hours apart. I couldn't share my computer though!!

We have 2 of each and each have iPhones...and we have an extra winter car (DHs SUV) so we've literally never shared. We could because I'm currently SAHM but, if I worked as well, then no. At that point, we couldnt share anything; we'd be too busy.

2 cars for sure. I like my independence and we have about 0 public transportation where I live, so 2 cars is critical, but I really like having 2 computers as well! I'm spoiled I suppose

We can't get to work wlthout our own cars. We could share a computer...since I'm on one at work all day, I could do without at home!

We have two cars and one computer. That works great for us.

We have two cars and 4 computers at home.
If I had to decide, we would have to have two cars.

we have two cars and one computer. So there's my answer

Hmmm...interesting. I guess my own answer to my poll changes based on where we live. When we lived in a place without public transportation, I would have said two cars. But now, we live in a very walkable place with public transportation, so I'm quite glad to have only one car to keep up!
The computer thing, though...we've made it work in the past, but with us both in school again, it's getting tough!

We have two computers and one car and its a PITA! DH never used his computer, but we are always running into sharing the car problems! We hope to get another car by the fall.

Two cars is critical for us. There is no public transportation here and we live in a rural, not walkable/bikeable area, so I would just be stuck home ALL the time while DH is at work. We only have one computer now and DH never uses it, but we both have iPads, so that kind of doesn't count...

We don't own a car since we live in NYC and the public transportation is great. (We do Zipcar when we need one).
We both have our own computers. When my laptop was broken it was hell trying to share. He's a teacher and I'm a writer, no way we could be a 1 computer household.

Other: two cars, one computer, one iPad and two iPhones. We're set.

We've dealt with one of each--if I don't have a computer, I go to the library as needed. Living without a car in a suburb is just too isolating for me.

We only have one computer and no cars, haha! To be fair, we have an iPad, not sure if that counts....but no car for now bc we live in the city, so we're good with what we got!

We definitely need 2 cars. Hubby and I work 45 minutes in opposite directions from the house and there's no way we can carpool. He works 2am till 2pm and I work 7:30am till 4:30pm.

We have 2 cars and 3 computers. We both have work laptops and one personal laptop for home. DH dominates our home computer though.

We have 2 cars and 5 computers (desktop, media computer since we did away with cable and only stream, my old laptop, my new laptop and DH's work laptop). The computers are not necessary but the cars definitely are.

Two cars is critical for us. We both work about 30 miles away from our home but in opposite directions so there is no way we could share.

2 computers, for sure. We could make 1 car work, but we would fight like cats and dogs if we owned 1 computer. (We actually own 5 plus an iPad. haha)

We could deal with just one computer and two cars. Luckily, we don't have to.

We need both. We have one car and it's fine for now, but will be challenging in the future.
