@Cherrybee: Thanks! So far we're in soccer team limbo.....

First, he didn't get his old coach & the team he did get practices 30 minutes OUT OF TOWN (the condition the coach had to agree to coaching again since that's where they live). There is no way we could do this twice a week the whole season with our 1 car & financial logistics.

So... DH called the old coach & found out how many kids he had on the team & then called the lady in charge of things along with the president of the board to see about getting G switch to atleast a local team.

We'll know tomorrow what the verdict is. IF he cannot be switched we'll just skip soccer this season & start prepping him for basketball.

@Cherrybee: Lol. G would never play football. It took forever to even get him open to soccer & then he out of nowhere told us "I've *always* wanted to play basketball" (we had no clue). lol He refuses to play baseball too b/c he doesn't want to get hit with the ball....... the kid is so weird, has bruised up legs from skateboarding but won't play a sport b/c he doesn't want to get hit. Whatevs, we just require he plays some kind of team sport. *shrugs shoulders*

@little_d: We've decided to take some time before trying again (I don't want to be pregnant on my mar edd) & so next April will be our ttc date.

@Cherrybee: Lol. I don't get it either, but DH likes it so I oblige........ and am secretly thankful G doesn't like it either. haha

We don't have anything like ice anything around here. boo! Even skateboarding he can't really compete in here, but he likes learning stuff on his own & maybe if we move to a bigger city one day (or something like that starts here) he'll be ready!

@Cherrybee: Lol. We told him he basically *had* to pick a team sport to play just so he could get some experience working as a team, taking instruction from a coach for the good on the whole team/not just himself, and that his team was relying on him so he had to see his commitment through. Figure it'll be good for future jobs.
