This is the second time I've been sick since I've had DS. Last time it literally felt more painful than my 24+ labor having him.
Today is a head cold....no drainage, just congestion + really really sore throat....and a migraine to top it off.
I'm drinking airborne and hoping i can ride it out with no meds.... (we're just 2 weeks away from one year of BF!)
ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

@autumnlove: yea i have a feeling it'll be like that. my head hurt, but i feel okay otherwise. but in bed last night i was hot/cold all night.

Have you ever tried Sinusalia? It is homeopathic but I think it really helps with sinus pressure/congestion. Not sure how that works with BF though!

Ugh, I feel ya. Being sick after having a kid is so much worse for some reason!! I can't just stay home and lay on the couch, and I can't ignore him crying in the middle of the night. I'm battling a sore throat and tiredness/achiness now. Just went to CVS minute clinic and they wouldn't give me anything, booo!
I hope some relief comes soon! And congrats for BFing so long, that's amazing

i feel better after eating some porridge...caved and took migraine meds and btl feeding him today. really holding out on the cold meds though...

Tea, broth, oatmeal, water, and lots of rest are what work for me. And congrats on being so close to a year! Amazing!
