Does anyone watch this? DH and I watched the first few episodes, but it's so ridiculous. We both hate starting a series without finishing, though!

The book was great. The series has already deviated quite a bit from the book, but Stephen Kind says he likes the changes. Anyway, yes, we're watching and we like it so far, but not nearly as good as the book!
Junior was WAAAAAY creepier in the book. Like, ew, I'm not surprised they didn't put what he was doing in the book on TV.

Was Junior the meth head? Been a long time since I read it. I was going to ask if it was based off Stephen King. He is totally one of my main stylistic influences.

Apparently it's filmed in my hometown? That's all I really know about it, other than the plot sounds interesting. I wanted to watch it, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Last episode got really weird. I am interested to see whereit goes. I have not read the book. Not a big Stephen king fan- bad childhood experience! I never looke at storm sewers the same.....

@MrsScottish: yes. Y husband said this last episode got really weird like they were "stretching" it a bit.
We are watching and will probably finish.
Any other suggestions for shows like this? I trying to get DH into watching a show together and this was our first.
