I thought of another! I hate mani/pedis. I am weirdly germaphobic about shared water spaces and those big chairs for pedicures freak me out. I could not set foot inside a water park or got to a spa either.

@skipra: oceans bother me too. I will straight up get out of the water (lake, pond or ocean) if I see a fish splashing around near me. It freaks me out.

Oh yeah! I'm a Christian so this is unpopular in church crowds/members of mine and DH'S family, but I HATE Christian movies. Like why? Who are they helping? The people going to see those movies are usually people that already know the information and the acting is never good. I don't get caught up in the hype.

I think Vin Diesel is the creepiest actor ever and his voice and face creep me out. Every time I mention this, women act like I'm crazy.

@snowjewelz: my mother in law and grandmother's are always trying to get me to watch the newest Christian movie but I really don't enjoy them and often laugh most of the way through lol but my MIL loves hallmark movies too and to me they're kind of just as bad lol

@Mrs. Sunshine: I watched A LOT b/c I used to volunteer w/ youth groups and every month we had movie night and we were pretty much restricted to show these movies. I mean, some were kinda moving, but overall still cheesy, lol

This one's weird, but I love the smell of gasoline. My mom does, too, and I swear we've never sniffed/huffed/whatever they call it. I never hear anyone say this, or maybe they just don't want to admit it.
I don't like U2, DMB, Great Big Sea (I'm from where they're from), The Tragically Hip, or a bunch of other bands that were hugely popular in the 90s.

I don't like DMB, Dunkin Donuts coffee (but please give me all the donuts), breakfast foods (no eggs, pancakes, waffles, French toast - yuck). I also do not find Channing Tatum attractive at all. Just remembered another one - I hate Chicago style pizza. I'm from Illinois and this inconceivable to my Chicago-area family!

@Mrs. Sunshine: I am OK with oceans unless there is too much seaweed. I think it's the leeches and just slime factor that icks me out about ponds!
And Disney too. I am irrationally annoyed by the whole thing and it gives me great pleasure that DS calls Mickey "Elmo"

I don't like coffee, tea, or alcohol. I love talking politics and don't think people should avoid it like they do. I think the Paleo diet is ridiculous (clean, unprocessed foods are fine, but cutting out entire food groups? Nope). I honestly don't listen to much music anymore.... I like my rare moments of quiet
And @mrs. Sunshine yes on the Christian movies despite being a Christian.

It will be the biggest battle in our marriage since DH is dead set on getting a dog some day when our boys are older and I'm dead set on never having one. I honestly don't see a compromise

I cannot stand Taylor Swift--I'd sooner stub my toe or twist my ankle getting to the radio ASAP to change the channel when one of her (exactly the same) songs comes on. Same feelings about Renee Zellweger. Yuck. Fortunately I haven't seen her around for a long time.

I hate the taste of coffee and I really don't care much for milk either, I've had it only very rarely in the last 10 years. I really dislike Julia Roberts as well, I feel like she's a big phony.
I'm also anti-union because I have to deal with strikes etc at work (it just makes so much more work for me).

I live in the Boston area and I hate the Patriots. I think it's funny when they lose because the fans are all such terrible losers. I actually hate pretty much all professional sports and have no interest in them, which is unusual around here, even for women.

I don't like cake in general, and I'm a baker. There are a few recipes I enjoy, but not many. I'll take a brownie over cake any day.
Hate The Office and any shows with that style of humor.
Don't care for comedians in general. I just don't get jokes like normal people do, so they make me feel stupid.
It kind of amuses me that some of these irritate me. Some of y'all are wrong!

crap-celebrity/paparazzi culture, stories, attention, gossip--all of it makes me shudder, it's so depressing and braindead. not like I'd rather see someone reading Mein Kampf than OK! Magazine on the MTA, but it bums me out that this industry even exists.

@lamariniere: I saw someone shooting up in a Starbucks on Park Avenue by my office and realized it was basically the new McDonalds.

@MamaBehr: yes my Aunt made me a CD for T of all songs kids should know like "take me out to the ballgame" a friend told me that she is bummed she ever got her kid a car CD since she wants to listen to The Muffin Man on repeat. T is on a strict music diet of Country radio and vinyl records at home-lately it's been Bob Marley and the Chronic over and over.
