    Pumpkin flavored anything. Barf.

My husband is a fan of Jordans and expensive sneakers, and I do not get it AT ALL. He only has a few pairs, but it seems like a big waste of many to me. Most of them are ugly AF. It's one of our main sources of conflict, haha! I own maybe 10 pairs of shoes. So clearly I don't understand show obsession in general.

Tory Burch shoes (same vein). I just don't think they are attractive. The large metal logo looks like it's hanging on for dear life at the end of the foot. They just look silly.

    The Bachelor/Bachelorette.

@NavyRN2012: I know! I peel it off my pizza 😬 I can't stand it in any form. The smell, the texture, the flavour. Gross. Just gross.

I agree about the paleo I mean atkins with vegetables. I thought it was common knowledge that a vegetarian lifestyle is best for optimum health.

I also am turned off by displays of wealth.

@gentlelunette: My DH doesn't eat cheese either! He hates it. He won't even eat pizza and reads ingredients on stuff and if there's cheese he won't eat it. I find it so bizarre because I love cheese. But I guess he's not alone!

@Greentea: I'm not into fitness/diet trends/whatever but I didn't know completely vegetarian was truly healthier. I just always thought of it as sort of lower calorie.

I don't like, or have any interest in watching the following shows: Friends, SNL, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad

There are only like 5 fruits I'll eat, only raw/whole. I will not eat anything with fruit cooked in it, and most things flavored withdraw fruit. I don't like fruit that's been, mashed, smashed, puréed, pied, jammed, jellied, emacerated, etc. but I will eat some in a smoothie

I don't really like chocolate. No chocolate milk, cake, frosting.

I really don't understand the Disney obsession. I have never been to Disney, and would not be sad if I never go.

I hate all coffee shop drinks, including regular coffee and tea. No lattes, cappuccinos, iced coffees, frappés, etc.

I'm sure there is more, but can't think of anything else

I hate pb@j - jelly is fine. Pb is fine. Together? Bleugh

I love mcdonalds. In my circle at least that's not something you own up to.

I dislike frosting and most cooked fruit pies. I can't stand really sweet foods and usually have to cut the sugar in most recipes by 1/3.

I have never watched Star Wars and have no desire to. I guess I watched some Family Guy episodes about Star Wars and those were totally nonsensical to me which further made me never want to watch the real movies.

I hate the band Train. So much.

I like McDonald's - it has this weird comfort food association I can never break, even when I'm doing a great job eating well otherwise. Same with Little Caesar's hot and ready pizzas.

I don't understand the whole Greek yogurt craze. I get thick yogurt is nice in certain applications but the whole nonfat sugar free everything free Greek yogurt for a dollar a tub thing annoys me. It tastes like chalky paste people.

Except in very specific recipes I dislike whole wheat pasta. Bring me the delicious white stuff.

I have a special place in my heart for squishy white bread.

I dislike that fancy solid white albacore tuna business. If it's not the cheap, fishy cat-food tuna, I want no part of it.

I hate thick bath towels - I want the cheap thin ones that actually stay when I wrap them around my body.

    Red Vines > Twizzlers forever.

Red Gatorade over crushed ice, especially in a huge gas station fountain format, has miraculous body healing properties. Blue Powerade can also work in a pinch, but it must be those specific colors and brands.

Cauliflower rice is not rice. Not even close.

    @Portboston: I'm the Same! I hate syrup and jam/jelly

@delight: I'm also not a cake fan unless it's made of ice cream.

I also hate the smell of vanilla brown sugar or whatever that B&BW soap is called. I always have to immediately wash my hands with something else if I accidentally use it.

@gingerbebe: no! Greek yogurt is amazing! We live off Chobani in our house! So different than the American yogurt that's runny and way too sweet and doesn't fill you up!

  15. gingerbebe

    cantaloupe / 6131 posts

@T.H.O.U.: I mean, I buy it too - there are times when the texture works better, like when I'm making Greek food or because its easier for DS to try and spoon at 18 months. But I try to buy full fat or at least 2%. Most of the stuff out there isn't really even strained Greek yogurt, its like nonfat yogurt stuffed full of powdered nonfat milk and weird stuff - hence the chalky paste business.

@gingerbebe: yeah full fat is key! Nonfat dairy is just sadness.

I have one! Disney. I've been to both parks once, because I've lived near LA and Orlando, but we don't have any plans or desires to take our son there, ever.

And sports. Neither DH or I ever watch televised sports. And we live in a huge college basketball town, but it hasn't rubbed off on us.

I don't really like pasta and not a big pizza fan. So heavy!

I used to not have a sweet tooth at all and wasn't a big fan of dessert...until pregnancy. Now I just want all the pastries and cupcakes and cookies! 🎂🍪🍩

  18. 2littlepumpkins

    grapefruit / 4455 posts

@gingerbebe: what's fage? I like that stuff! The cherry one! And the chobani flip in a couple of flavors but only because it's a slightly healthier than what I would otherwise eat!

I have another one, don't hate me but I am solidly in the animals are not people camp. I don't get the dog strollers, the animal clothes and accessories, etc. I don't like seeing dogs (or any other animals) in places dogs aren't supposed to be. I know of people who have doggy birthday parties and I think it's just stupid, call me a party pooper!

I'm also not that into films/movies. I respect that they're legit art but I just have zero interest in most movies. But I do love me some Marvel Cinematic Universe. I think I just have too short of an attention span and I'm too sensitive/emotional for intense dramas!

I have another one: Pinterest. I just don't get it and am not even willing to try. I'm old school and keep a file folder of magazine clippings and internet printouts. Since I'm limited to the one folder it helps me keep my expectations in check. Theoretically, at least

I don't really get watching TV. I think it's kind of a waste of time. I'd rather read a book or play a video/board game.

I also hate sports. Pretty much universally. I see no value in professional sports, at all.

Ah, I forgot to mention celebrity worship. We are all human. People being famous for nothing but a sex tape makes me ticked. The grocery store checkout gives me anxiety. I do enjoy country music, occasional movies, the NFL and more than a few shows but I do not idolize or obsess. When people talk about celebrities and know everything about them it makes me eye roll. It's a form of entertainment, they are not your friends.

I dont spend a lot of money to keep pets alive. I mean, I take good care of them- shots, well fed, etc. but when the time comes the time comes. I know people who have taken out personal loans to keep dogs alive and it makes zero sense to me. To be fair, my mom grew up on a farm and so I think we were raised with a similar attitude about animals. I think a lot of veterinarians play on people's emotions, and practice a version of medicine that is only sometimes rooted in actual science. We were once quoted 2 grand for a diagnostic procedure on a cat, and then shamed for deciding not to do it (and ultimately putting the cat down when he began suffering).
I'm usually pretty open about my opinions, but I keep that one to myself. Because people think I am heartless for it.

I don't like the beach. But let me be clear- walking the beach, swimming, boating, finding treasures (sea shells, glass) -I love- but I don't like laying around. I don't get it. And I don't like seeing other people's butts that much. I am a very conservative beach dresser. And sunscreen seems gross and I don't like sand everywhere.

I lived on a beach for a summer as a biologist, so maybe that tainted my view!

  36. Mrs. Sunshine

@Silva: I agree! When it's over its over. Yes it's sad and hard (and sometimes even devastating) but at the end of the day it's just a pet.

  39. NavyRN2012

@Silva: YES! Animals are not people. I had a (childless) friend post on FB that she was getting a glimpse into parenthood because her dog woke up early to be let outside. Um, no. You're not. I can't just open a door and say there you go to my baby when he's up all night 🙄

I also don't care for star trek
and I don't care for harry potter.
I tried. I fell asleep watching any of the above (star trek was a bit better but the other 2 were a disaster)
